Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of Physical Exercise to improve the quality of life of people on hemodialysis(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Roman Campos, Julissa Rosa; Vila Fabian, Juanita; Mendigure Fernández, JulioIt is a systemic review that included 11 articles no older than 10 years published in English and Spanish extracted from the databases Pubmed, Scielo, Journal Medical, Cochrane Plus and BVS whose main topic was the effectiveness of physical exercise to improve quality of life of people on hemodialysis. 66.6% of the articles come from Spain, 8.3% from Chile, Brazil, Korea and Taiwan respectively. Results: 66.6% of the articles demonstrate that physical exercise improves muscle strength, 41.6% reveal improvement in functional capacity. 100% of the articles demonstrated the improvement in the quality of life of people on hemodialysis, mostly in the physical (75%) and mental (41.6%) dimensions, other dimensions were also observed (emotional state, social functioning, general perception health, body pain) Conclusions: Physical exercise is effective in improving the quality of life in people on hemodialysis given that it has a positive impact on the dimensions: physical, mental, emotional, social functioning, general perception of health and pain bodily.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of respiratory techniques to improve clinical status in infants with acute bronchiolitis(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-01-25) Esteban Sotomayor, Magaly Edith; Pulache Bernal, Fanny Marylin; Avila Vargas Machuca, Jeannette GiselleObjective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of respiratory techniques to improve the clinical status in infants with acute bronchiolitis. Material and methods: The systematic review of 10 scientific articles from the following database Scielo, Pubmed, Epistemonikos, all analyzed according to the Grade scale to determine their strength and quality of evidence. Results: 80% of the evidence shows effectiveness in terms of respiratory techniques: vibrations, prolonged slow expiration, nebulization with 3% hypertonic saline solution, aspiration of secretions and postural drainage and 20% conclude that vibrations and percussion can cause vomit. Conclusion: 8 out of 10 evidence points to the different respiratory techniques: vibrations, aspiration of secretions, nebulization, postural drainage and prolonged slow expiration are effective in improving respiratory rate and clinical status in infants. Methodology: Observational and retrospective systematic review, the search has been restricted to articles with full text, and the selected articles were subjected to a critical reading to identify their level of evidence. Results: In the final selection, 10 articles were chosen, we found that 30% (03) correspond to Iran, with 10% (01) we find the United States, France, Switzerland, Spain, India and Venezuela respectively. It has been studied that the majority of these were quasi-experimental studies, with 40%, mainly in the countries of Iran, India, Venezuela and Mexico. A Meta-analysis of France was found, with 10%, with 20% randomized clinical trials, mainly in the countries of the United States and Spain, likewise 20% we have experimental studies and 10% descriptive studies in Iran. Where of the total articles analyzed; 80% affirm that the use of a manometer to control cuff pressure in patients with an endotracheal tube is the most effective and the digital palpation technique is not a reliable measure to estimate pressure. Materials and Methods: Systematic observational and retrospective review, the search was restricted to articles with full texts and the selected articles were subjected to critical reading. In the final selection, 12 articles were chosen, we found that 42% (05) correspond to the United States, we found 25% (03) in France and 17% (2) in Korea, while only 8% (01) we found Canada and Colombia respectively. . Most of the Meta-analysis studies have been studied with 50%. Among the systematic reviews we find 8.3% in Colombia, controlled clinical trials 33.3% in the United States, France, and we have 8.3% case-control studies belonging to France. Results: In the articles we found that 46.6% (08) affirm that the prone position reduces mortality in patients with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome in the prone position, we found 8.3% (01) affirm that the prone position is also safe in patients obese and improves oxygenation more than in non-obese patients and 8.3%(01) affirm that patients with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome In the prone position, the cardiac index improved. The clinical question was: Does nutritional intervention (prevent constipation or diarrhea) for the progress of intestinal flora , have a better standard of living) with probiotics (Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacteria, Saccharomyces boulardii) in adult patients after CRC surgery? The Evidence-Based Nutrition methodology was used, finding 31 articles, 18 being chosen that have been evaluated by the CASPE critical reading instrument, finally choosing the systematic study titled The effects of probiotics on reducing the colorectal cancer surgery complications: A periodic review during 2007–2017, which has a level of evidence AII and a strong Grade of Recommendation, according to the researcher's experience. Among the main results, the studies highlight that newborns who had cardiotocographic tracings suggestive of Loss of fetal well-being have a high rate of meconium (77% of studies), Apgar > 7 (73% of studies) and a low percentage of acidosis neonatal and respiratory morbidity (77% and 75% of studies). Not enough evidence was found regarding neonatal resuscitation and admission to the NICU. To meet the objectives, the Modified Maternal Stress scale will be applied. This scale is supported by the Likert measure of 4 scores, which starts from 1 (no stress) to 4 (exaggerated stress). It consists of 4 sublevels that evaluate the degree of stress of mothers regarding: the NICU unit, condition and behavior of the baby, maternal role, relationship with the health team. Which will be applied to all mothers of newborns hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit during the research study period.
