Material and method: Descriptive, cross-sectional, retrospective study. in 127 patients registered in the database of the Dos de Mayo National Hospital in the period January - December 2018. The severity of adverse events (no harm, irreversible damage, disability, and death), adverse events (pressure injuries, falls, phlebitis, and blood transfusion), and demographic data such as age and sex were considered. Results: Of the total, a high proportion of pressure injuries was determined with 73 reports (57.5%), followed by phlebitis with 26 reports (20.5%), and falls with 25 reports (19.7%). 55.9% were women, 78.7% (100 cases) had follow-up by the staff, and 71.7% (91 cases) presented no damage, of which 56 (44%) corresponded to pressure injuries and 11.8% (15) corresponded to falls. Conclusions: Pressure injuries were determined, followed by phlebitis and falls as the most frequent adverse events derived from nursing care at the Dos de Mayo National Hospital during the period January - December 2018.Publicación Acceso abierto Factores asociados y estreñimiento en pobladores del Asentamiento Humano Leandra Ortega Espinoza del distrito de Ventanilla agosto a diciembre – 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-07-11) Armas Aguirre, Julia Aurelia; Atachao Medrano, Deivy Gildx; Cano Pérez, Carlos AlfredoEl estreñimiento es uno de los trastornos gastrointestinales más frecuentes en la actualidad en la población, se puede originar por diferentes causas multifactoriales y se caracteriza principalmente por una dificultad permanente para defecar. Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre los factores asociados y estreñimiento en pobladores del Asentamiento Humano Leandra Ortega Espinoza del distrito de Ventanilla agosto a diciembre – 2023. Metodología: Estudio de nivel correlacional, tipo básica, diseño no experimental, método hipotético deductivo, corte transversal y de enfoque cuantitativo. Los participantes estuvieron conformados por 264 pobladores y para la recolección de datos se aplicó la encuesta. Resultados: El 18,9% de los pobladores presentaron estreñimiento, mayor predominio en el sexo femenino; existe una relación significativa entre factores demográficos el indicador (sexo, grado de instrucción, ocupación actual, ingreso mensual) y variable estreñimiento (p < 0,05) se halló mediante la prueba chi-Cuadrado y la prueba exacta de Fisher. Así mismo existe una relación significativa entre anormalidades metabólicas y estreñimiento (p=0,040); consumo de medicamento y estreñimiento (p=0,021); hábitos dietéticos y estreñimiento (p=0,008); actividad física y estreñimiento (p=0,030) se halló mediante la correlación no paramétrica Rho de Spearman. Conclusión: Se determinó la relación que existe entre los factores asociados y estreñimiento en pobladores del Asentamiento Humano Leandra Ortega Espinoza del distrito de Ventanilla.Ítem Acceso abierto Level of therapeutic adherence in diabetic patients with chronic kidney disease at the Daniel Alcides Carrión hospital – Pasco – 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-09-12) Vilca Palacin, Edith; Suarez Valderrama, Yurik AnatoliObjective: Determine the level of therapeutic adherence in diabetic patients with chronic kidney disease at the Daniel Alcides Carrión Hospital – Pasco, 2021. Methodology: Applied research with a quantitative approach, descriptive method and non-experimental cross-sectional design. The population will consist of diabetic patients with CKD treated in the Non-communicable Diseases Unit of the Daniel Alcides Carrión Hospital in 2021 according to the selection criteria. Sampling will not be carried out. Data collection techniques and instruments: The survey technique will be used and the instrument that will be used is the “Therapeutic Adherence Questionnaire.” Validation and reliability: This questionnaire was validated by expert judgment; its reliability in a pilot test resulted in a Cronbach's alpha value equal to 0.799. Data processing and analysis plan: Patients will be identified with the database that is available for each one, then they will be visited to conduct the survey. The data will be entered in Microsoft Excel software, they will be worked descriptively for both demographic data, as well as by dimensions with the help of descriptive statistics.
