Effectiveness of targeted noise reduction strategies to ameliorate stress on physiological systems in the neonatal intensive care unit
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-01-25) Zumaeta Becerril, Lleny; Vásquez Lévano, Severina Paola; Uturunco Vera, Milagros Lizbeth
Objective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of targeted noise reduction strategies to improve the stress of physiological systems in the neonatal intensive care unit. Material and Methods: The systematic review of 10 articles that had as their topic the effectiveness of strategies aimed at reducing noise to improve the stress of physiological systems, were found from the following databases: Pubmed, Epistemonikos, medline were analyzed according to the Grade scale to determine its strength and quality of evidence. Results: According to the study design, 30% systematic reviews, 30% randomized controlled trial, 20% quasi-experimental, 10% case-control group and 10% case-control group were found. Of the evidence found, it shows that 70% of the targeted strategies are effective and 30% could not demonstrate the effectiveness of the strategies due to the lower number of investigations. Conclusion: It was concluded that 7 of 10 evidence shows that there is effectiveness of the strategies in reducing noise reaching between 45 dB to 56.6 dB, and that 3 of 10 of the evidence could not demonstrate effectiveness of strategies due to the lower number of evidence.

Environmental factors and stress level of the premature newborn in the Neonatal Units of a Specialized Institute, 2023
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-01-08) Fernandez Camargo, Saby Margarita; Fernández Rengifo, Werther Fernando
Introduction: Neonatal Units are environments where environmental factors predominate, such as noise from incubators, alarms and monitors, excessive illumination of lamps and spotlights in the environment and unnecessary handling during procedures, which alter the stress level of the patient. neonate during its extrauterine adaptation in the hospital environment, therefore, it is expected that the issue will be addressed to create alternative solutions that improve the quality of life and maturation of premature neonates. Objective: To determine the relationship between environmental factors and the stress level of the premature newborn in the Neonatal Units of a specialized Institute, 2023. Methods: Study with a quantitative approach, descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional. The census sample will be made up of 100 premature newborns from ten Neonatal Units of the Lima Maternity Hospital. An observation guide will be used as an instrument for variable 1 and a survey for variable 2, both prepared in 2009 by Bonifacio and modified in 2017 by Salas, with high validity and reliability, turning out to be reliable instruments. The collection and processing of the data will be by the Excel and SPSS program, using the chi-square test and the Spearman correlation coefficient to evaluate the relationship between the variables.

Perception of humanized nursing care and the relationship with the level of stress of hemodialized patients in a specialized renal health center. Lima, 2022
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-03-05) Nole Villafuerte, Jenny Marisol; Arevalo Marcos, Rodolfo Amado
Objective: Objective: To determining the relationships between the perceptions of humanizes nurses cares and the stress of level the hemodialysis patient in specialized kidney health center of Lima, 2022. Methodology: The type of research would be applied, the proposed approach would be quantitative, and the determined design would be nonexperimental, observational, correlational levels, and cross-sectionals. Population and Sample: The population addressed corresponding to 310 patients with a representative sample in 172 threatened at the specialized kidney health center. The corresponding instruments would be applieded to said samples on the period from December 2022 to January 2023. Technique and Instruments: The techniques to be applied would be in survey and the instruments to be applieded corresponds to the Perceptions Questionnaires of Humanized Nurses Care and Scale Stress Assessments, the same ones that had a reliability of Cronbach's Alpha and Kuder Richardson KR20 equivalents to 0.592 and 0.727 respectively. Data processing and analysis: The data would be records in an Excel template for classifications and control, being processed, on the existing relationships between the variable treated on the investigations would be established, through the Chi Square statistical test for counting the study with qualitative variables.
