La Metodología: tendrá como método de investigación el hipotético deductivo, el enfoque será el cuantitativo, el tipo de investigación aplicada, el diseño será no experimental, de corte transversal y alcance correlacional. La muestra será 120 enfermeros del servicio de emergencia adultos con muestreo censal. Como instrumentos de recolección de datos se aplicarán el cuestionario “Nivel de conocimientos de enfermeras sobre aspiración de secreciones” y un Check List de “Práctica de aspiración de secreciones de enfermería” con validez y confiabilidad apropiados. Objetivo: “Determinar la relación entre el conocimiento y práctica de enfermería sobre aspiración de secreciones con circuito cerrado en cuidados intensivos del Hospital Nacional arzobispo Loayza, Lima – 2025”. Métodos: La investigación es aplicada, el método hipotético - deductivo, bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental, nivel descriptivo correlacional y de corte transversal, se trabajará con 103 enfermeros a quienes se les aplicará encuestas para identificar el nivel de conocimiento y la práctica en aspiración de secreciones con circuito cerrado mediante un cuestionario que cuenta con una validez aprobada y una confiabilidad de alfa de Cronbach de 0,837 para el primer instrumento y de 0,760 para el segundo instrumento. Los resultados se analizarán usando programas estadísticos como el SPSS 26 y para el análisis de la correlación se utilizará el Spearman. La metodología: trabajo de investigación de método deductivo, de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, de diseño descriptivo-correlacional. La población y muestra la conformaran profesionales de enfermería que trabajen en la unidad de cuidados intensivos en el hospital Lima. La técnica para recoger los datos de la variable conocimientos será la encuesta, y como instrumento el cuestionario, modificado por Fernández-Concha y Fernández (2022), validado por siete jueces expertos, y confiable con 0,6324 según el estadístico K-Richarson; para la variable prácticas se observación y como instrumento la guía de observación modificada por Moreno (2019) validado con 84% de concordancia por siete jueces expertos, siendo la confiabilidad de 0.63 según el estadístico Alpha de Cronbach. Materials and Methods: The design used was a systematic review, which uses the synthesis process of research results, being a fundamental contribution to evidence-based nursing. Results: Of the 10 selected articles, 40% (n=4) were systematic reviews, 40% (n=4) clinical trials, 10% (n=1) experimental study and 10% (n=1) quasi-experimental. Furthermore, 50% (n=5) studies come from the American continent, while the other 50% (n=5) belong to the Asian continent. The results of the 10 selected studies reflect that 100% (n=10) show effectiveness of non-nutritive sucking for the transition to complete oral feeding and improvement of clinical variables in preterm newborns. Conclusions: There is evidence of the effectiveness of non-nutritive sucking for the transition to complete oral feeding and improvement of clinical variables in preterm newborns.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of secretions aspiration in a closed circuit versus open circuit in preventing ventilator-associated pneumonia in ICU patients(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-05-19) Quispe Inga, Dennys; Najarro Nuñez, Alex Nelson; Uturunco Vera, Milagros LizbethObjective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of closed versus open circuit aspiration of secretions in the prevention of pneumonia associated with mechanical ventilators in patients treated in the ICU. Material and Methods: International articles are systematically reviewed by searching the Pubmed, Elsevier and Science Direct databases, which are analyzed through the grade system, using DECS and MESH descriptors. When evaluating the articles, the result was that 100% (10/10) of the articles correspond to Brazil, England, Japan, the United States, China, India, Egypt, Korea, Switzerland and Iran respectively. Results: 90% (09/10) of the evidence indicates that the effectiveness is similar between open and closed endotracheal suction systems in the prevention of ventilator-associated pneumonia in patients hospitalized in the ICU, and 10% (01/ 10) indicate that the closed circuit is more effective than the open one. Conclusions: It is found that 09 of the 10 evidence conclude that the effectiveness is similar between open and closed endotracheal suction systems in the prevention of ventilator-associated pneumonia in patients hospitalized in the ICU, and 01 of 10 indicate that the closed circuit is more effective than open. Material and Methods: Systematic observational and retrospective review, subjected to critical reading and using the GRADE evaluation system to identify the degree of evidence of the articles published in the following databases: PubMed, Epistemonikos, Sciencedirect, and Researchgate. Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed, 70% (n= 7/10) are meta-analyses, 10% (n= 1/10) are a systematic review, 20% (n= 2/10) are randomized controlled trials and are from of the countries of China (50%), followed by Canada (20%), Australia (10%), France (10%) and Iran (10%). Results: 100% (n=10/10) (11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20) indicate that drainage of subglottic secretion is effective in reducing ventilator-associated pneumonia in patients. in critical units. Material and Methods: This research is designed as a systematic review, which summarizes research study results and provides evidence on the use of a specific intervention. A total of 25 scientific articles were reviewed for this investigation, which were subjected to selection criteria, resulting in a sample of 10 articles found in databases. Results: The evidence found indicates that 100% (n=10/10) supports the use of FMEA to reduce patient safety risks. The results also indicate that regarding the quality of scientific evidence, 50% (n=5/10) are pre-experimental studies, 30% (n=3/10) are descriptive studies, and 20% (n=2/10) are cohort studies. Regarding the geographical origin of the evidence, Spain accounts for 50%, followed by Colombia (10%), Argentina (10%), Israel (10%), India (10%), and Iran (10%). Its importance to know about the correct practice of suctioning secretions in a closed circuit will avoid complications to the patient's health. Objective: objective to determine the relationship between knowledge and nursing practice on closed-circuit aspiration of secretions in the Intensive Care Unit of a Hospital in Huacho. Material and methods: The approach will be quantitative, observational and correlational, non-experimental cross-sectional design. The population will consist of 35 nurses who work in the Intensive Care Unit of a Hospital in Huacho. To measure knowledge, the Level of Knowledge of Aspiration of Secretions in Closed Circuit questionnaire developed by Moreno will be applied, with validity 0.97 and reliability 0.88 measured by Cronbach's Alpha. For the evaluation of nursing practice in Closed Circuit Aspiration of Secretions, a Checklist developed by Cabello will be applied with a validity of 0.87 and a reliability of 0.91 measured by the KR20 test. The instruments will be administered in person, with prior authorization of informed consent. The instruments that will be used for the knowledge variable will be the questionnaire, which will be executed in a single moment, for the practical variable it will be a checklist, which will be executed in a single moment. To collect the information, it will be done through a link shared through WhatsApp for the development of the questionnaire. The checklist will be carried out through observation at the time of performing the procedure, which is aspiration of secretions. With respect to the data obtained, the Microsoft Excel version 9 program will be carried out, subsequently it will be exported to the SPSS version 24.0 software to execute the corresponding statistical calculations, thus developing the tables and graphs for the analysis of the variables.
