    Objective: Analyze the relationship between biosafety practices and occupational risks for nursing professionals at the surgical center of the Regional Hospital of Loreto 2021. Material and method: this research will be based on a quantitative, descriptive, correlational approach, since the data will be collected, processed using those characteristics that were observed and for that statistical tests were used that allow the proposed hypotheses to be demonstrated with support. This research will be made up of 28 nursing professionals who work at the Loreto Regional Hospital, using non-probabilistic convenience sampling. For data collection, a checklist and questionnaire will be used for each of the variables under study.

    Burnout syndrome and work stress in nurses at the surgical center of a National Hospital in Lima, 2022.

    Nursing is the backbone of the healthcare system, playing an indispensable role in critical areas. The surgical center is daily burdened with stressful situations that require a lot of physical, intellectual and emotional demand. The professional must stay healthy to offer excellent and quality care. When there is an imbalance in these characteristics, the professional is prone to suffer from occupational diseases such as Burnout Syndrome and work stress. Objective: To determine the level of Burnout Syndrome related to work stress in nurses in the surgical center of a National Hospital in Lima, 2022. Methods: hypothetical-deductive, quantitative approach, correlational level, cross-sectional, non-experimental, with a sample of 80 nursing graduates and technicians who work in the surgical center of a National Hospital in Lima, already validated instruments will be applied to measure the first variable, the Maslach Burnout Inventory Human Services Survey (MBI HSS) instrument created by Christina Maslach, Michael Leiter and Jackson, with reliability of 0.809 according to Cronbach's Alpha and for work stress the ILO-WHO questionnaire carried out by Ivancevich & Matteson in the United States, with 0.966. For data analysis, the Spearman coefficient will be applied. In this way, results that respond to the statement of the problem can be obtained.

    Calidad del cuidado de enfermería y su relación con la satisfacción de pacientes post operados en el servicio de cirugía de un hospital de Chimbote, 2024

    Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre el cuidado de enfermería y la satisfacción de los pacientes post operados en el servicio de cirugía de un Hospital de Chimbote, 2025, población estará constituida por 150 pacientes del Servicio de Cirugía del Hospital III Essalud de Chimbote. Muestra: conformado por 108 pacientes, Diseño Metodológico: El tipo de investigación será aplicada. Diseño será observacional, descriptivo, correlacional, prospectivo y transversal. Instrumentos: Para evaluar la variable “Cuidado de enfermería” confiable mediante Alpha de Crombach de 0.90 y para evaluar la variable “Satisfacción del paciente post operado” se aplicará el cuestionario adaptado por Arteaga y modificado por Yapias 2023, confiable mediante Alpha de Crombach con un valor de 0.78. La técnica de recolección de datos será la encuesta. Procesamiento estadístico y análisis de datos: se realizará mediante técnicas descriptivas, el análisis estadístico será según sea su distribución a través de pruebas estadísticas paramétricas (Correlación de Pearson).

    The study “Compliance in the application of the safe surgery checklist by the staff of the surgical center of the Arzobispo Loayza national hospital”, developed in Lima, Objective. It will determine compliance in the application of the safe surgery checklist by the staff of the surgical center of the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital. Materials and methods. This work has a quantitative nature approach, with respect to the design it is descriptive and cross-sectional. The population will consist of the number of operations carried out in a month and no statistical sampling method will be applied since we will work intentionally and conveniently with a significant sample of 30% of the population which will be 58 study units guaranteeing reliability. and veracity of the results. The observational technique will be used and the instrument will be a structured observation guide with indicators in accordance with the principles of the safe surgery checklist, which will have 25 items that cover questions on all the topics included in the list, focused on the 3 corresponding dimensions. to the phases of the safe surgery checklist such as surgical entry, pause and exit, thus determining compliance with the parameters that each member of the surgical center staff must carry out, it will be carried out according to the operating time of each surgical intervention, whether scheduled or scheduled. emergency.     El conocimiento sobre las medidas de bioseguridad es fundamental para que las enfermeras puedan desempeñar su labor de manera segura y eficaz, protegiendo tanto su salud como la de los pacientes a su cargo. Material y métodos: Investigación aplicada, no experimental, transversal y correlacional, con muestra censal de 70 enfermeros y enfermeras, aplicándose la técnica de la encuesta con dos cuestionarios validados en el contexto nacional. Se empleó primeramente la estadística descriptiva, caracterizando a cada variable según porcentajes y frecuencias en forma global y en cada una de sus dimensiones.

    Effectiveness of surgical dressings in preventing surgical site infections in patients with clean contaminated wounds

    Objective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of surgical dressing in preventing surgical site infection in patients with clean contaminated wounds. Material and Methods: the systematic reviews of these 10 pieces of evidence were found in the following databases: Google Scholar, Dialnet, Cochrane, Epistemonikos and Scielo. Of the 10 articles reviewed, 70% (n=7/10) are systematic reviews, 20% (n=2/10) are case-control studies and 10% (n=1/10) are randomized clinical trials. According to the quality of the evidence, it was found to be high in 80% and moderate in 20%. According to the recommendation strength it is 80% strong and 20% weak; Depending on the country where the investigations are carried out, it corresponds to Spain 40%, the United States 20%, Peru 20%, the United Kingdom 10% and Colombia 10%. Results: according to the review, it is evident that 80% (n=8/10) of the articles indicate that the surgical dressing is not effective for the prevention of surgical site infection in patients with clean contaminated wounds and 20% (n= 2/10) state that the surgical dressing is effective in preventing surgical site infection in clean contaminated wounds. Conclusions: it is concluded that 8 of 10 evidences indicate that the surgical dressing is not effective for the prevention of surgical site infection in patients with clean contaminated wounds and 2 of 10 evidences affirm that the surgical dressing is effective in the prevention of site infection. surgical in clean contaminated wounds.

    Ergonomic risks of nurses in the surgical center service of the Jesus del Norte Clinic - 2021

    Introduction: The World Health Organization defines healthy work as an environment where the team works together to achieve an objective for the good of the health and common well-being of workers, it also emphasizes that a healthy work environment is achieved with the participation and collaboration of all workers where both they and their bosses seek continuous improvement to protect their safety through protection and health promotion. Objective: Determine the ergonomic risks of the nurses in the service of the Surgical Center of the Jesús Del Norte Clinic 2021. Methodology: The project will be descriptive, quantitative approach, non-experimental design with a cross-section. The sample population will be made up of 38 nurses who work in the surgical center service of the Jesús del Norte clinic. The technique will be observation and the REBA (Rapid Whole Body Assessment) method will be used for the instrument. This instrument was developed by Sue Hignett and Lynn Mcatamney in England in 2000, which is found to have validity and reliability, in addition having been used in many projects.

    The objective of this research project is to establish the relationship between stress and job performance of the nursing staff of the surgical center of a National Hospital in Lima, 2022; due to the fact that the surgical area is the one that presents the most challenging cases in a hospital, becoming even more difficult in the pandemic and post-pandemic, in which they had to deal with COVID-19. The research proposes a hypothetical-deductive method, with a quantitative approach, of an applied type and with a non-experimental design. For the study, we seek to have a total of 40 nurses who provide their services in the surgical center in person at a hospital in the city of Lima, to whom two instruments (questionnaires) will be applied, the first to be able to evaluate the level of stress and the second to evaluate their performance at work.

    Humanized care of the nursing professional in ostomized patients of the surgery service of the Daniel Alcides Carrion National Hospital - 2020

    The patient's perception regarding the quality of humanized care is useful for health-providing establishments, allowing them to know, analyze, evaluate and establish methods of perfection aimed at humanized care. Regarding the methodology, it is a quantitative, descriptive study with a non-experimental design, the population is made up of 30 ostomy patients who were hospitalized in the General Surgery service 1 and 2 of the Daniel Alcides Carrión Hospital during the months of October - December 2020; and that they meet the exclusion and inclusion guidelines. The technique used to collect data is the survey. The questionnaire made up of 4 dimensions such as; phenomenological, interaction, scientific and human needs. Likewise, it is made up of 18 items, with a Likert-style measurement scale considering always (5), almost always (4), sometimes (3), almost never (2) and never (1), their measurement levels. They are classified as high (score of 67 to 90), medium (score of 43 to 66) and low (score of 18 to 42). For the reliability of the instrument, it was applied to 30 ostomy patients; a statistical analysis was performed using Cronbach's Alpha, obtaining a result of 0.957, which indicates that it is highly reliable.

Objective: The purpose of the research is to determine the relationship that exists between knowledge and practice on biosecurity measures in nurses from the surgical center of the Chancay Hospital and SBS Dr. Hidalgo Atoche López 2021 Methodology: The research will be quantitative, applied, correlational, non-experimental, cross-sectional. Likewise, it will be made up of 40 nurses who meet the study criteria. The aspects of inclusion of nurses from the surgical center of the Chancay Hospital and SBS Dr. Hidalgo Atoche López who agree to collaborate with the research were considered; nurses from the surgical center who are on leave and those who do not agree with the research will be excluded. The study technique will be the survey, and the instrument will be the questionnaire. The instrument belongs to Borja, the same one that has validity by expert judgment and a high reliability of 0.804 Cronbach's Alpha and complies with all ethical aspects.

    Knowledge and use of personal protective equipment by nurses in the care of patients with COVID-19 in a surgical center of a private entity, 2021

    The research project presented aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and use of personal protective equipment by nurses in the care of patients with Covid-19 in a surgical center of a private entity, 2021. It will be carried out an applied research, quantitative approach, deductive method, with descriptive design, correlational and cross-sectional level. The study population will consist of 70 nursing professionals who work in the Surgical Center Service of a private entity. For data collection, survey and observation techniques will be used and the questionnaire and checklist will be used as measurement instruments respectively. The processing and analysis of the collected data will be carried out with the Microsoft Excel 2019 Program and the SPPS Statistical Program version 26.0, subsequently the preparation of tables and graphs will be carried out to present the results obtained.

    Level of anxiety in preoperative patients of the general surgery area in the national hospital level III of Lima - 2021

    The present study of the level of anxiety in preoperative patients of the general surgery area at the national hospital level III of Lima - 2021, had to determine the anxiety levels of the preoperative patients of the General Surgery area of ​​the National Hospital Level III of Lima, Methods: It is a descriptive, cross-sectional and prospective study carried out in 70 patients preoperatively. The technique was the survey and the instrument was the Spielberger Anxiety Assessment Scale (IDARE). Results: 100% (70); 84% (59) report that the anxiety level is medium; followed by 9% (6) low and 7% (5) is high; in the dimension of negative symptoms 56% (39) is low; 18% (13) medium and 26% (18) high, and in the dimension of positive symptoms 61% (43) is high; 23% (16) medium and 16% (11) low. Conclusions: the level of anxiety in the preoperative patients of the General Surgery area of ​​the National Hospital Level III Lima is medium, since they feel worried, sad and nervous, low because the patients felt calm and safe; and it is high because they were distressed and restless.

    Level of anxiety that exists in the pre-surgical patient in the surgery service of the Hospital de Vitarte in December 2021

    The study has a quantitative approach, with a descriptive scope of an application type and a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The population consisted of 80 pre-surgical hospitalized people over 18 years of age, during the month of January 2021, selected according to criteria that were taken to select the study participants. The survey will be used for the variable under study where the Instrument in the case of the variable will be used for Zung's anxiety where the dimension will be evaluated as somatic, affective and cognitive. The reliability of the instrument was as follows with Cronbach's Alpha , where a “pilot sample” was carried out, using ten scheduled for surgery, obtaining a reliability of 0.882, a result that gives us to understand that the instrument to be applied is acceptable. Procedure: the data collection information will be carried out during the month of December 2021 in the services of: general surgery, gynecology and traumatology. Once the survey has been administered, the data will be entered into a database in the SPSS Version 25 program.

    Nivel de conocimiento y prácticas actitudinales sobre bioseguridad del personal de enfermería del servicio de cirugía del Hospital de Ventanilla, 2024

    Objetivo: “Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y las prácticas actitudinales de bioseguridad del personal de enfermería del servicio de cirugía del Hospital de Ventanilla, 2024”. Método: La metodología empleada será descriptiva, correlacional, transversal. Población y muestra: Personal de enfermería de servicio de cirugía del Hospital de Ventanilla, siendo un total de 70 profesionales. Técnica: Se emplearán dos fichas de recolección de datos, uno de 20 ítems para evaluar el grado de conocimiento en bioseguridad y otro de 16 ítems para evaluar la práctica de bioseguridad. Análisis estadístico: Los datos se ingresarán a Microsoft Excel, para el cálculo estadístico de las frecuencias de las variables, en cuanto a la correlación de las dos variables, serán procesados en el software SPSS, para lograr las pruebas de asociación estadística Rho Spearman, para poder responder las hipótesis de investigación, estableciendo así la razón de prevalencia entre las variables. Conclusión: El principal motivo del presente proyecto de investigación es generar mayor información real sobre los conocimientos y las prácticas actitudinales de medidas de bioseguridad del personal de enfermería, generando además estrategias de control y educación con respecto a la bioseguridad.

    Objective: To analyze the relationship of the patient's knowledge and attitude towards nursing care in the post-surgical stage in the surgery service of the Arzobispo Loayza Lima National Hospital, 2022. Material and method: The research method is hypothetical deductive, quantitative approach, non-experimental design, descriptive correlational type of research. The population and sample will be composed of patients hospitalized in the surgery service, numbering 303. The instrument for the knowledge variable will use a 26-item questionnaire, and for the attitude variable, a 12-item survey will be used. Finally, measures of central tendency, the student test will be used to analyze the data, and the background information will be used in analysis and interpretation of data and discussion of the results.

    Objective: Describe the personal and institutional factors in the application of biosafety measures by the nursing professional of the Surgical Center service of a National Hospital, Lima 2020. Method: It is a quantitative, non-experimental, observational, descriptive and cross-sectional research. The technique was the survey and the instrument was a questionnaire, aimed at the nurses of the surgical center, an online form was sent and was made up of 30 nurses. Results: Regarding personal and institutional factors overall, it is observed that of 30 nurses surveyed, 63% present unfavorable factors and 37% present favorable factors. Conclusions: The unfavorable factors in the application of biosafety measures, globally, are those that predominate; not having diploma studies, lack of training, service time of less than one year, insufficient provision of materials and supplies, lack of surgical clothing, small number of nursing professionals. As for the favorable factors, in a global way, predominating the fact of having specialty studies, the satisfaction of working in the surgical center; In addition, they feel proud of belonging to the hospital, their vocation for work and of being highly competent in the institution.

    Introduction: According to the WHO, there is evidence of importance in the topic and the application of standards to ensure quality care. Safe Surgery developed by the WHO aims to provide safety in the surgical act, reduce complications, errors and adverse events. Objective: The objective of the study is to determine the perception of the post-operative patient about safety in surgery in a public hospital Lima, 2020. Methodology: The study has a quantitative approach. A descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional study will be carried out. . The study population will be made up of 455 patients and the sample is 90 patients treated in the months of November and December 2020, the technique is the interview and the instrument is the questionnaire on Perception of safe surgery created by collazos made up of 15 questions divided into 3 dimensions: Before anesthesia with 9 questions, after surgeries 3 questions and Safety opinions of hospital services with 3 questions. These data will be entered into an Excel table, and after that they will be transferred to the SPSS version 26.0 program and the data will be statistically analyzed.
