    The purpose of this study is to gather post-treatment information, as it will analyze the effectiveness of mirror therapy for the upper extremity in post-stroke patients at a private center. This research will also benefit academia and help expand knowledge on new treatment techniques, with a duration of 3 months and a sample of 100 participants. The Fugl Meyer and DASH scales will be used as instruments for this study.

    Effect of the mirror therapy on the spastic hand of post stroke patients in a National Hospital, Moquegua 2023

    The objective of the study was to determine the effect of mirror therapy on the spastic hand of post-stroke patients. The study was hypothetical-deductive, with a quantitative approach, applied in nature, and experimental design with a pre-experimental sub-design. The study population consisted of all post-stroke patients in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department of a National Hospital in Moquegua from March 2022 to March 2023, with a sample size of 80 patients. The ARAT test was used as an instrument to evaluate the dependent variable, which was validated through expert judgment along with a data collection form created by the author. A pilot test was conducted with 20 patients, obtaining a Cronbach alpha of 0.86, confirming reliability. This instrument can be used in future research by health professionals.
