Metodología: El método será hipotético-deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicado, diseño no experimental, de corte transversal y nivel correlacional. La población y muestra serán los 30 enfermeros; y el muestreo será no probabilístico por conveniencia. Las técnicas del estudio serán dos encuestas. Los instrumentos un cuestionario del conocimiento frente a un sismo de gran magnitud (KR-20=0.88); y una lista de cotejo de capacidad de respuesta del enfermero (KR-20=0.90). As cities are becoming larger and more densely populated, natural disasters are affecting public health on a larger scale. Objective: To determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes towards a large-magnitude earthquake in emergency nurses at the Huacho Regional Hospital, 2021 Materials and methods: The approach will be quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational design. The population will be made up of nursing professionals from the emergency area of the Huacho Regional Hospital. According to the hospital's human resources office, there are currently 30 nursing professionals rotating through said service. The research will work with the entire population, called a census sample. The technique to be used is the survey. The knowledge questionnaire consists of 20 items and 3 dimensions (disaster risk management, preparation and response process, earthquakes). The instrument for assessing attitudes is a Likert-type scale with 20 items and 3 dimensions (cognitive attitude, psycho-emotional attitude, behavioural attitude). Both were subject to the judgment of 4 experts, whose rating was good on average. That is why the nursing professional must be prepared in terms of knowledge to be able to develop favorable attitudes towards the nation in the event of such an emergency. Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about an earthquake and the attitude of the nursing professional in the emergency service of a hospital of the Ministry of Health of Lima in 2023. Methodology: It is an applied research study, quantitative approach, hypothetical-deductive method, non-experimental design, cross-sectional and correlational level. It was made up of 60 nursing professionals. Two questionnaires were used to measure the variables. The data collected will be entered into a database of SPSS version 26 software, a statistical analysis will also be carried out, showing the results descriptively by means of frequency tables. Therefore, hospital centers must implement business continuity strategies for both prevention and response to this type of natural events. General objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about seismic events and the attitudes of the nursing staff in the emergency area of a hospital in Lima, 2023. Materials and Methods: This research will be carried out according to a hypothetical-deductive method, quantitative, cross-sectional, non-experimental and correlational approach, which will allow obtaining expected results according to the hypothesis that is exposed. In the same way, to measure the two variables the technique will be the survey with two questionnaires, all validated by the work of Luna (2022). Cronbach's Alpha coefficient will be used to determine the reliability of both variables, whose evaluation results are between 0.81 and 0.95, which guarantees the validity of the instrument. Excel and the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23.0 will be used for the calculations and statistical analysis of the data. The study uses the quantitative, observational and cross-sectional method. The population and sample are professionals who provide care in the hospital from July to September 2021; Data collection is with the survey technique. Objetivo es determinar el nivel de conocimiento en sismo y capacidad de respuesta en los simulacros de sismo del personal de salud, Ayacucho 2023. Metodo: estudio de tipo aplicada, cuantitativo, obervacional de corte transversal de tipo no experimental. La muestra estará constituida por 80 profesionales de salud del Centro de Salud Cochani, para la recolecionn de datos se aplicó dos instrumento: un Cuestionario sobre el nivel de conocimiento del personal de salud sobre sismo y una lista de cotejo sobre capacidad de respuesta durante un simulacro, están validados y son confiables para medir las variales en cuestión. Los datos recolectados serán procesador en una aplicación del programa estadístico SPSS versión 25. La prueba estadística del coeficiente de correlacion de Spearman dado porque se trata de variables ordinales correlacionadas.
