Surquillo 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-07-09) Pizarro Bernedo, Doris Elvira; Quispe Alarcón, Nancy; Ramos Jaco, Antonio GuillermoThe objective of this study was to evaluate the consumption of illicit drugs based on toxicological expert reports for aggravated robbery at the "SO1 PNP Walter Rosales León" police complex. The research methodology used a deductive method with an observational, cross-sectional-retrospective, and non-experimental design. The final sample consisted of 340 toxicological expert reports, with a data collection form based on descriptive statistics. The results obtained were: 52.4% of illicit drug users were between 21 and 30 years old, 97.1% were male, and 73.8% had a secondary education. Regarding drug consumption based on the jurisdiction of the aggravated robbery crime, the districts with the highest frequency of consumption were San Juan de Lurigancho (10.6%), Callao (10.3%), and San Martin de Porras (8.8%). Finally, marijuana was the most prevalent drug consumed by the detained individuals, with a frequency of 71.5% compared to cocaine (10.6%).Publicación Acceso abierto Consumo de drogas ilícitas y su relación con las infracciones cometidas por los adolescentes en el Complejo Policial Walter Rosales León, Lima 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-07-09) Aymara Paira, Iris; Ramos Jaco, Antonio GuillermoThe objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the consumption of illicit drugs and the offenses committed by adolescents at the Walter Rosales León police complex in Lima, 2021. Methods: The research was basic, with a non-experimental, descriptive, and correlational design. The approach was quantitative, retrospective, and cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 278 reports found in the toxicology area's archives, related to offenses committed by adolescents aged 13 to 17. The instrument was an observation form, and the study was conducted with a 95% confidence level. Results: The records showed the abuse of illicit drugs, including marijuana (65.1%), cocaine (10.1%), and marijuana/cocaine (24.8%). Regarding the offenses committed, there was a higher incidence of crimes against property (77.3%), public safety (14.7%), and life, health, and body (7.9%). The ages with the highest number of criminal acts were between 15 and 17 years old (90.7%), and 95.3% of the offenders were male. Conclusion: The significance value was 0.000 (p < 0.05), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis. A sample of 228 reports was used, which were analyzed according to sex, age, place of origin, and positive results for illicit substances consumed (cocaine and marijuana). A data collection form was used as the instrument. Results: According to sex, marijuana consumption was 82.8% among males and cocaine consumption was 42.1% among females. By age, those aged 16 to 27 accounted for 91.7% of marijuana consumption, while those aged 40 to 65 accounted for 61.8% of cocaine consumption. By place of origin, the most representative districts for marijuana consumption were Callao (14.5%), San Juan de Lurigancho (13.4%), Comas (7.0%), and others (21.0% in 18 districts). Cocaine consumption was similarly highest in Callao (17.1%), San Juan de Lurigancho (11.4%), Comas (5.7%), and others (17.1% in 18 districts). Overall, 186 reports showed marijuana consumption (81.6%), and 70 reports showed cocaine consumption (30.7%) of the illicit substances.Publicación Acceso abierto Identificación de sustancias de corte en drogas cocaínicas en el Departamento de Química y Toxicología Forense de la Dirección de Criminalística de la Policía Nacional del Perú – Lima 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-02-29) Gutierrez Seclen, Juliana Marisol; Llahuilla Quea, José AntonioThe objective of this study was to identify cutting agents in cocaine-based drugs analyzed at the Department of Chemistry and Forensic Toxicology of the Criminalistics Directorate of the Peruvian National Police (PNP). The methodology employed was descriptive, with a quantitative approach, classified as basic, non-experimental, and cross-sectional. The population consisted of cocaine-based drugs, from which a sample of 217 units was drawn out of 500, using a simple random probabilistic sampling method. Identification of cutting agents was carried out through a standardized preliminary identification test and confirmed using the GC/MS analytical technique. Preliminary results indicated that the most common inactive cutting agents were reducing sugars (13%) and starch (11%). Additionally, 4% of the samples produced false positives. Among the active cutting agents, lidocaine and phenacetin showed the highest incidence (15%). In conclusion, the identified cutting agents included caffeine, lidocaine, phenacetin, ketamine, levamisole, starch, and reducing sugars.
