Ítem Acceso abierto Care of the polytraumatized patient transferred in ambulances and nursing assessment, in a national hospital, Lima 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-01-15) Echabautis Orejón, Ana María; Bernardo Santiago, GrisiIntroduction: the prehospital care that is provided in ambulances to patients with polytraumatisms, as well as the assessment carried out by the nursing professional are important since it can mean the difference between life and death, for which it is important that graduates in infirmaries they have the scientific-practical training that allows them to deal with this type of case. Objective: To establish the relationship that exists between the care in the transfer of polytraumatized patients and the nursing assessment in a hospital in Lima in 2022. Methods: hypothetical deductive, quantitative, applied, correlational and cross-sectional study. The census sample will consist of 10 nursing graduates who work in the ambulance service of a Hospital in Lima. Observation will be used to apply a checklist prepared by Carranza and a questionnaire to apply the survey with a Likert-type scale adapted by Paucar for the target population, both instruments validated and reliable to measure the variables in question. If this situation continues, the waiting area could suffer a collapse due to the mental and emotional instability exhibited by the relatives. For these reasons, this research aims to study the levels of uncertainty among the relatives of patients transferred to the emergency room, with the purpose of supporting the hospital management and thus developing strategies, courses, or workshops to provide support both to the patients and their families.
