Ítem Acceso abierto Efficacy of intraosseous access in adults in emergency situations for fluid resuscitation(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-01-05) Reusche Arrese De Weber, Elena Elizabeth; Vasquez Azuaje, Victor Alexis; Calsin Pacompia, WilmerOBJECTIVE: To analyze the systematic evidence of the effectiveness of intraosseous access in adults in emergency situations. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Quantitative study, whose design is through systematic reviews which was based on the search in: PubMed, EBSCO, Scopus, Scielo, for the analysis the GRADE system was used which measures the quality of the evidence and the strength of the recommendation. POPULATION AND SAMPLE: The academic work consisted of a total population of 40 scientific articles and a sample of 10 scientific articles. RESULTS: It is established that intraosseous access should be used when vascular access is compromised given the critical conditions of the patient. Obtaining an acceptance of 80% due to its easy and quick handling in terms of the technique once learned CONCLUSION: 100% of scientific articles show the effectiveness of intraosseous access in adults in emergency situations, acting as a substitute for vascular access , when the conditions of the critical patient do not allow them to be eligible in a first option. Taking into consideration that these articles state that it should be used only for 24 hours, once fluids have been restored, a vascular access must be canalized and the intraosseous catheter removed. Noting its speed and easy placement technique, any fluid can be administered, including blood products, vasopressors, and collection of blood samples.Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge about risk prevention with body fluids and the practice of the nursing professional in the intensive care unit of a national hospital in Lima, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-09-17) Fernández Pomasunco, Susan Guadalupe; Morillo Acasio, Berlina del RosarioObjective: To determine the relationship between knowledge about risk prevention with bodily fluids and the practice of nursing professionals in the Intensive Care Unit of a National Hospital in Lima, 2023. Methods: The hypothetical-deductive method will be applied in the research, quantitative approach, applied type, non-experimental, descriptive and correlational design; likewise, the population and sample made up 50 nurses. For the processing and analysis of data, first, the collected information will be ordered, then the coding will be carried out, once the data is collected, it will be organized according to its study variables, the data will be processed using the Microsoft Excel program and the SPSS statistical software. to generate tables and/or graphs by dimensions and indicators of the study of first variable knowledge about risk prevention with bodily fluids and second variable practice of the nursing professional; In addition, to determine the relationship between variables, the Spearman Statistical Correlation Test (Rho) will be applied.
