    Asociación entre el diagnóstico presuntivo de TLP y la detección de signos de VPH en cérvix, en mujeres atendidas en el C.S. Juan Pérez Carranza, 20024- 2025

    Introducción: El trastorno límite de la personalidad (TLP) es una afección mental caracterizada por inestabilidad emocional, impulsividad, autoimagen distorsionada y relaciones interpersonales conflictivas. Estas características pueden favorecer conductas sexuales de riesgo, aumentando la vulnerabilidad a infecciones de transmisión sexual (ITS), como el Virus del Papiloma Humano (VPH). Diversos estudios han evidenciado que las mujeres con TLP presentan mayor frecuencia de relaciones sexuales, menor uso de métodos anticonceptivos y mayor incidencia de ITS y embarazos no deseados. Dada la relevancia clínica y epidemiológica del VPH y su vinculación con factores psicosociales, resulta pertinente explorar su asociación con sintomatología compatible con TLP. Objetivo: Establecer la asociación entre el diagnóstico presuntivo de TLP y la detección de signos de VPH en cérvix, en mujeres tratadas en el Centro de Salud Juan Pérez Carranza entre 2024 y 2025. Metodología: Se diseñó un estudio de casos y controles, con una muestra de 172 mujeres (43 casos y 129 controles), calculada mediante EPIDAT. Se empleó el McLean Screening Instrument for Borderline Personality Disorder (MSI-BPD) para la detección presuntiva del TLP, clasificando los resultados en improbable, posible y probable. Se utilizó la prueba de Chi cuadrado y se estimaron razones de odds (OR) con un intervalo de confianza del 95%. Resultados: Se mostró una asociación significativa entre TLP y signos de VPH (p = 0,000). Las mujeres con puntaje posible en el MSI-BPD presentaron un OR de 3,526, y aquellas con puntaje probable un OR de 2,731. Además, se identificaron asociaciones con número de parejas sexuales mayor de dos, antecedentes familiares de cáncer cervical, promiscuidad, tabaquismo y ausencia de métodos anticonceptivos eficaces. Conclusión: Existe una asociación significativa entre TLP y la detección de signos de VPH, lo que resalta la necesidad de integrar el abordaje de salud mental en estrategias de prevención de VPH.

    Effectiveness of dialectic behavior therapy to decrease suicide and autolesive ideas in patients with personality limit disorder

    Objective: To analyze the evidence of the efficacy of dialectical behavioral therapy in reducing suicidal and self-harming thoughts in patients with borderline personality disorder. Material and Methods: A quantitative retrospective observational systematic review was carried out, subject to critical selection, using the Grade evaluation system to establish the degree of evidence, located in the following databases: Scielo, Researchgate, Sciencedirect, Epistemonikos, PubMed. Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed, 10% (n= 1/10) are meta-analyses, 10% (n= 1/10) are systematic reviews, and 80% (n= 8/10) are randomized controlled trials. According to the results obtained from the systematic review carried out in the present study, the authors analyzed the data from the countries of the United States (30%), the Netherlands (20%), Canada (20%), Norway (10%), Spain (10%) and Australia (10%). Results: Of the evidence found, 90% (n=9/10) indicate that dialectical behavioral therapy is effective in reducing suicidal and self-harm thoughts in patients with borderline personality disorder. 10% (n=1/10) indicate that dialectical behavioral therapy is not effective in reducing suicidal and self-harm thoughts in patients with borderline personality disorder. Conclusion: Dialectical behavioral therapy is effective in reducing suicidal and self-harm thoughts in patients with borderline personality disorder.

    Perception of the disease and adherence to treatment in patients with borderline personality disorder at the hospital, Huaraz, 2023

    The general objective of this research project will be: Determine the relationship between perception of the disease and adherence to treatment in patients with borderline personality disorder at the Hospital, Huaraz, 2023. The study population will be 80 patients (100%) who attend to the hospital with a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder. The research method used is a type of hypothetical deductive cross-sectional design of a non-experimental applied type. A questionnaire will be used to collect data as a method, the survey technique; as instruments: the "Brief Questionnaire on Illness Perception (BIPQ)", validated by the VARIMAX test, with reliability analysis of á= 0.67 of Cronbach's alpha, variance of 61.46% and the "Medication Adherence Questionnaire Morisky-8 items (MMAS-8)", with an internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha) of 0.77 and a significant 0.16 (p = 0.000), which indicates that the instruments are reliable. In turn, the appropriate statistical tests will be used to confirm the hypotheses. For the subsequent processing and analysis of the data obtained during the study, the latest version of the SSPS Statistics program and the Microsoft Excel program will be used to present statistical tables.
