This is how the present research work will aim to determine the relationship between the knowledge and attitude of nursing staff towards the prevention of pressure injuries, Intensive Care Unit of Rezola Hospital, Lima, 2022. To do this, we will work with a methodology based on the deductive method, with a quantitative approach, of an applied type, and of a non-experimental design. The questionnaire adapted from the original English version called Pressure Injury Prevention Knowledge (PIPK) questionnaire will be applied to measure the variable knowledge about pressure injury prevention; and the Attitude toward Pressure Ulcer tool (APuP) questionnaire to measure the attitude variable. The study will be carried out taking into account the five principles of the Belmont report.
