Ítem Acceso abierto Family satisfaction with the care provided by the nurse in the intensive care unit of the Naval hospital, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-09-30) Arévalo Urrunaga, Lady Catherine; Cabrera Espezua, Jeannelly PaolaThe present research work aims to determine the degree of family satisfaction with the care provided by the nurse in the Intensive Care Unit of the Naval Hospital, 2021. Material and method: Quantitative approach study, descriptive cross-sectional design, non-experimental. The study population will be made up of 20 participants made up of relatives of patients hospitalized in the general Intensive Care Unit of the Naval Hospital. For data collection, the survey technique will be used and as an instrument the family satisfaction questionnaire, prepared and validated by Palacios, consisting of 07 items for general data and 10 items of family satisfaction with 5 Likert scale-type alternatives, where the number one (very dissatisfied) means the lowest value of family satisfaction and 5 (very satisfied) the highest value. The instrument validation process was carried out by means of expert opinion and the reliability of internal consistency through Cronbach's alpha correlation, with a reliability equal to 0.878. The scales to measure the final value of family satisfaction are determined as follows: Dissatisfied (09 – 18), Moderately satisfied (18 – 27) and (27 – 45) Satisfied.
