Emotional intelligence in nurses working in the intensive care unit with COVID 19 patients of a private clinic in Lima, 2021

Emotional intelligence is based on the skills and dispositions to voluntarily establish a state of mind or feeling based on ideas about facts or events. The person has to use their emotions, guiding them appropriately in activities that are constructive, as well as in personal performance. Emotional intelligence is a good predictor for success in life, as well as a key component for maintaining quality intra- and interpersonal relationships. Objective: Determine emotional intelligence in nurses who work in the intensive care unit with Covid 19 patients of a private clinic in Lima, 2021. Type of study: This research assumes a quantitative approach, descriptive design and cross-sectional, it is constituted by 50 nursing professionals working in the Covid 19 intensive care unit of a private clinic in Lima. Data will be collected through a survey and the instrument that will be used to determine emotional intelligence is the Traid Meta-Mood Scale (TMMS-24), which is made up of 24 items and three dimensions. This instrument was validated in our country by Chang Mey, obtaining adequate results and has a reliability of 0.959 using Cronbach's Alpha. Data processing: The data will be exported to a data matrix designed in the Microsoft Excel 2019 program. The findings will be presented in statistical tables and graphs to be analyzed and interpreted.

Family support and quality of life of the older adult who attends the medicine service of a Health Center in Lima, 2022

Objective: Determine the relationship that exists between family support and the quality of life of the older adult who attends the Medicine Service of a Health Center in Lima, 2022. Material and method: The research responds to the hypothetical-deductive method and has a quantitative approach. , descriptive cross-sectional correlational design, The population will be made up of 150 older adults who attend the Medicine Service of a Health Center in Lima; Likewise, the study sample will be calculated using the statistical formula of simple random probabilistic sampling and our sample will be 108 older adults, the survey technique will be used and there will be 2 instruments that were carried out by the researchers Yoli Fabiola Alvarado Mercado and Rosita Guadalupe Chávez Sánchez, through the appreciation of highly qualified expert judges in the research topic who gave their rating of relevance, clarity and relevance to each of the items, through the Binomial Test of family support (p=0.012) and quality of life (p=0.011). Data processing will be made using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 22.0, Excel for Windows 2016 will also be used to extract data according to a matrix structured as a database in relation to the measuring instrument. .

Level of stress and job satisfaction in nursing staff in the emergency area of a national hospital, Callao - 2022

Introduction: The theme of this study is about stress and job satisfaction of nursing staff who work in the emergency area. Both aspects are closely linked, since if the nurse is affected by stress, it will have an impact on his or her job satisfaction. Objective: Determine the relationship between the level of stress and job satisfaction in the nursing staff of the Emergency area of a National Hospital, Callao 2022. Material and Method: The study will be applied, quantitative approach, non-experimental design, cross-sectional and correlational scope. The population will be nurses from the Emergency service, during the period from June to December 2022. Two Likert-type scale instruments will be used, prior authorization and signing of the informed consent of the participants. Results: A matrix will be created in Excel with the collected data, the information will be transferred to a SPSS version 26.0 software program, to prepare the tables, figures and inferential statistics that will test the hypotheses to determine the possible relationships between both variables of the study. through Spearman's non-parametric test.

Occupational risk in nursing staff working in the sterilization center of a hospital in Lima, 2020

The present study was descriptive, cross-sectional, the objective of which was to determine the level of occupational risk to which nursing staff working in a Hospital in Lima, 2020, are exposed. The sample population consisted of 30 nursing staff, the The method used was the survey, the technique to measure the study variable was the questionnaire and the instrument used to collect data was the questionnaire developed by Zaida Navarro (2010). Which was modified and subject to Expert Judgment by the author. A pilot test was carried out with 34 nursing personnel, which gave a validation result of 80% and a reliability of 80.4%. The data were entered into a matrix table prepared in the statistical software SPSS 24.0.

Objective: Determine the relationship of parental control practices in feeding with the nutritional status of schoolchildren from the Liceo Naval Contralmirante Montero, San Miguel, Lima - 2021. Material and method: The research responds to the hypothetical deductive method, it has a quantitative approach, it is basic, descriptive, relational design, the population that constitutes it makes a total of 540 schoolchildren and their parents from the first to the sixth grade of primary school at the Liceo Contralmirante Montero, from this a sample of 143, the survey technique was used and the instrument called a questionnaire called the Infant Nutrition Questionnaire, with likert-type responses, created by Dr. Birch in 2001, for this study we will use the version translated and adapted to Spanish by Navarro and Reyes in 2016, with a validation process by expert judgment and a Crombach's alpha reliability of 0.86, which indicated excellent reliability according to the classification in the Kuder table. Quality of nursing care and level of satisfaction of mothers of girls and boys under 2 years of age in the growth and development clinic of the San Luis polyclinic, 2022

The quality of health care implies relating the requirements of patients who are linked to the need to obtain their satisfaction, such as in society and their own family environment. The study aims to determine the relationship that exists between the quality of nursing care and the level of satisfaction of mothers of girls and boys under 2 years of age in the growth and development clinic of the San Luis polyclinic, 2022. This research is applied, quantitative approach, and non-experimental, descriptive correlational design. Regarding its population, it was made up of all mothers of children under 2 years of age who attend the growth and development control of the San Luis Polyclinic, with a total of 80 mothers. To measure both variables, the technique used was the survey; to measure the quality of care, a record sheet “quality of nursing care” will be used, adapted from the questionnaire developed by Rondón and Salazar (Venezuela, 2010) and adapted for the national level, by Castró and collaborators, in 2016, with 36 items and four dimensions, which has a Cronbach's alpha of 0.88. For the second variable level of satisfaction, the modified SERVQUAL questionnaire instrument, original by Mira Solves J, Buil Aina J, et al, will be used, which was modified by Álvarez in 1996, with 20 items and five dimensions with a reliability coefficient of alpha. Cronbach's score of 0.92. The collected data will be processed by creating a database matrix in Excel 10.0, to later be analyzed in the IBM SPSS Statistics V. 25 program.

Work environment and its relationship with job performance in workers of a public institution, Huánuco – 2022

In 2021, 234 cases of workers with occupational diseases were reported in Peru, while 214 fatal accidents and 27,767 work accidents were reported (5); which is likely due to different risk factors found in the work environment and its influence on the worker's work performance. Understanding the particularities of the work environment and its relationship with the worker will help implement policies for the prevention of occupational diseases and accidents, as well as the promotion of healthy lifestyles at work (6). Its objective is to determine the relationship that exists between the work environment and the work performance of the workers of the public institution - Huánuco. Having as a design: correlational type of research, transversal descriptive type, deductive method, with a quantitative approach, research design is non-experimental. Which will take place in the public institution Huánuco-Peru. With a total of 100 workers who simultaneously represent the study sample. To collect the data, the questionnaires from the worker's work environment scale - WEIS will be applied and at the same time the results of the evaluation of the workers' work performance, which is carried out monthly, evaluating their transversal competencies, will be received. To carry out the data analysis, a matrix will be created in Microsoft Excel 2013 where the data that will be extracted will be poured into. To carry out the statistical analysis of the data, the frequency distribution will be used, calculating measures of central tendency, such as median, mean and percentages, measures of dispersion, in the same way the range and standard deviation in quantitative variables.
