Factors that influence the knowledge of nurses in the management of the mechanical ventilator in the Intensive Care Unit of the Edgardo Rebagliati Martins Hospital 2021
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-03-27) Flores Ponce, Claudia Gabriela; Cárdenas de Fernández, María Hilda
Modernity has allowed the development of technologies that help with many problems that patients have. This fact can be seen more frequently in Intensive Care services, where increasingly complex and sophisticated equipment is used. One of these devices is the so-called mechanical ventilator that artificially replaces the organs responsible for breathing. This also means that the service must be staffed with highly qualified personnel with up-to-date and sufficient knowledge for the proper handling of this equipment. In the daily work in the Intensive Care Unit, it is evident that it is the nursing staff who are most frequently in charge of managing the mechanical ventilator, sometimes ineffective handling of the equipment can be observed, affecting the patient's condition and evolution, which is why in the present project it is proposed to solve the following question: What are the factors that influence the knowledge of nurses in the management of the mechanical ventilator in the intensive care unit of the Edgardo Rebagliati Martíns Hospital 2021? , with the aim of determining the factors that influence the knowledge of nurses in the management of the mechanical ventilator in the intensive care unit of the Edgardo Rebagliati Martíns Hospital 2021 Finally, this project is made up of four sections: number 1 that describes the problem, number 2 that details the theoretical framework, number 3 that develops the methodology and number 4 that indicates the administrative aspects.
