Ítem Acceso abierto Dry socket and its relationship with working time in patients treated in the dental area of the FAP Las Palmas hospital during the second quarter of 2019.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-12-22) Portella Tuesta, Carlos Renzo; Ascanoa Olazo, Jimmy AntonioAn observational, retrospective, cross-sectional, and correlational study was conducted with a descriptive level. The population consisted of 257 adult patients aged 18 to 61 years who visited the FAP Las Palmas Hospital during the second quarter of 2019. A data collection form was used to record age, gender, quadrant of simple extraction, work time in minutes, and the presence of dry socket at the follow-up date. The results showed that 4.7% of the patients developed dry socket. It was concluded that dry socket had a statistically significant relationship with the work time in patients treated in the dentistry area of FAP Las Palmas Hospital during the second quarter of the year 2019.
