It was also found that the aggressions towards nursing staff in emergency services are perpetrated by an aggressor, who can be the patient, a family member, or a visitor, and that the aggressions tend to be either verbal or physical. These studies come from the following countries: United States (40%), Australia (20%), Italy (10%), Iran (10%), Brazil (10%), and the United Kingdom (10%). Results: 100% (n=10/10) indicate that safety and protection interventions are effective in reducing workplace violence towards emergency personnel. Results: 80% of the articles indicate that nursing staff have been victims of workplace violence. 70% of the articles reviewed focus primarily on women. 60% of the articles identify the types of aggression: verbal and physical. La violencia laboral como un fenómeno social, que aqueja a las enfermeras en su centro laboral requiere voluntad política para enfrentarlo, mientras los estilos de afrontamiento son estrategias individuales que desarrolla cada enfermera para enfrentar situaciones de crisis existencial, guiado por conocimiento y respuesta conductual a la adversidad. Objetivo, determinar de cómo se relaciona la violencia laboral y los estilos de afrontamiento en enfermeros de la unidad de salud mental, Hospital público en Lima sur, 2025. Metodología, responde al método hipotético deductivo, de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, correlacional de nivel aplicada y corte transversal, la muestra está representada por 64 enfermeros que trabajan en la unidad de salud mental en un hospital público de Lima sur, para recoger información de utilizará cuestionarios: Para medir violencia laboral un cuestionario presentado por Arbulu según el coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach=0.934.mientras para la segunda variable se utilizará los propuesto por cuestionario de orientación para afrontamiento COPE su coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach=0.893, Para el procesamiento de datos se utilizará una base de datos SPSS versión 27, que permitirá realizar una análisis y sintieses descriptivo de los hallazgos encontrados, a través de cuadros, tablas y dispersiones y finalmente se procederá contrastar la hipótesis de la propuesta de la hipótesis, prueba estadística de Rho de Spearman.Ítem Acceso abierto Workplace violence against nurses.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2017) Chávez Porles, Griselda Ana; Román Aramburú, Ana María; Calsin Pacompia, WilmerObjective: The aim of the study is to systematize the available evidence on violence against nurses in the workplace. Materials and Methods: The study is a systematic review with an observational and retrospective design. It was based on a bibliographic search in indexed databases, taking into account a total of 10 articles that met the inclusion criteria. Results: It was found that the prevalence of workplace violence differs in each region worldwide, with Eastern Europe being the area with the highest prevalence. The most common form of aggression was verbal, primarily exercised by the head nurse. Conclusions: Workplace violence manifests in various forms, such as workplace harassment, physical, and psychological aggression. The systematic review of the 9 scientific articles showed that 5 were systematic reviews and 4 were descriptive, analytical, and correlational studies. 100% of the studies demonstrated some type of violence toward nursing professionals, with a prevalence ranging from 5.7% to 94%.Ítem Acceso abierto Workplace violence and psychosocial risk in emergency service nurses at Edgardo Rebagliati Martins National Hospital, 2014(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-06-14) Ortega Gómez, Janeth; Reyes Valles, Gregoria Carolina; Calsin Pacompia, WilmerObjective: To determine the relationship between workplace violence and psychosocial risk in nurses from the emergency department of the Edgardo Rebagliati Martins National Hospital. Materials and Method: This study has a quantitative approach and a cross-sectional correlational design. The population consisted of 120 nurses from the emergency department. Two questionnaire-type instruments were used: the first, developed by Ladero Cabanillas Aleyda, focused on Workplace Violence in Nurses from Hospital III of Social Security, addressing workplace violence; the second, developed by Orellana P., focused on Psychosocial Risks at Work and Perception of General Health Status in Nurses at the Regional Hospital of Ica, June 2016. Results: It was found that 64.2% of nurses reported experiencing infrequent workplace violence. Regarding the dimension of physical violence, 85.0% were victims infrequently. The psychosocial risk perceived by nurses was at a medium level in 55.8%, with the social support dimension also at a medium level in 68.8%.
