Factores asociados con hipertensión arterial en trabajadores de un hospital publico, Lima-Perú 2022

Abstract

The objective of the research was to determine the association between nutritional, environmental and anthropometric factors with arterial hypertension in health workers of a public hospital in Lima 2022, the research was quantitative, analytical and explanatory, 96 workers were studied, 52 were men and 44 women, the average age was 53 years, the youngest being 25 years old and the oldest 67, it was concluded that there is an association between nutritional factors such as the consumption of fruits and vegetables, it was found that the highest percentage of those who consumed fruits and vegetables, had a blood pressure lower than 140/90 mm Hg, as well as it was found that the consumption of alcohol, junk food and salty foods is related to a higher percentage of workers with pressure greater than 140 /90 mm Hg, in terms of environmental factors, the study showed that stress at work is associated with 37.8% and alcohol consumption, and cigarette consumption ros, of the anthropometric factors that were associated with a higher percentage of hypertensive patients was the body mass index, as well as related diseases, the presence of diabetes and kidney disease. It is recommended that a diet richer in fruits and vegetables and low in salt be implemented in the foods that are distributed at lunch and dinner to health workers, as well as a program of talks on how to control the stress suffered by all workers.

El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar la asociación entre los factores nutricionales, ambientales y antropométricos con la hipertensión arterial en trabajadores de salud de un hospital público en Lima 2022, la investigación fue tipo cuantitativa, analítica y explicativa, se estudió a 96 trabajadores, 52 fueron varones y 44 mujeres, la edad promedio fue de 53 años, siendo el menor de 25 años y el mayor de 67, se concluyó que existe asociación entre los factores nutricionales como el consumo de frutas y verduras, se encontró que el mayor porcentaje de los que consumían frutas y verduras , tenían una presión arterial menor a 140 /90 mm Hg, así como también se encontró que el consumo de alcohol , de comida chatarra y de alimentos salados se relaciona con un mayor porcentaje de trabajadores con presión mayor de 140/90 mm Hg ,en cuanto a los factores ambientales el estudio arrojo que se asocian el estrés en el trabajo, con el 37.8% y el consumo de alcohol, y el consumo de cigarros, de los factores antropométricos que tuvieron asociación con un mayor porcentaje de hipertensos fue el índice de masa corporal, como enfermedades relacionadas ,la presencia de diabetes y enfermedad renal. Se recomienda que se implemente una dieta más rica en frutas y verduras y baja en sal en los alimentos que se distribuyen en el almuerzo y cena a los trabajadores de salud, así como también un programa de charlas de cómo controlar el stress que sufren todos los trabajadores.
