Esquemas cognitivos tempranos y consumo de psicoestimulantes en estudiantes de psicología de una universidad privada de Lima – Perú, 2024

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre los esquemas cognitivos tempranos y el consumo de psicoestimulantes en alumnos de una Universidad privada de Lima – Perú, 2024. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 208 estudiantes de psicología, cuyas edades oscilan entre 20 y 39 años, de los cuales el 64% eran de género femenino y 39% masculino. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron dos cuestionarios, el primero acerca de datos sociodemográficos que consta de 5 preguntas y el segundo cuestionario de Esquemas de Young (YSQ-L2). De los resultados obtenidos, se evidenciaron que en cada esquema hay una correlación muy fuerte significativa entre esquemas cognitivos tempranos y consumo de psicoestimulantes, de las cuales resaltan los indicadores privación de necesidades 34.1%, pensamientos de abandono 38%, desconfianza excesiva 37%, apego confuso/inseguro 33.7%, autosacrificio 34.1%, inhibición emocional 34.6%, autoexigencia 33.7%, sin interés propio 35.1%, grandiosidad 37.5% e insuficiente autocontrol 35.1%, mientras que las sustancias con mayor cantidad de consumo fueron el café 25% y bebidas energéticas 25%, así también se evidenciaron otros psicoestimulantes con menor porcentaje dentro del estudio.

The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between early cognitive schemas and the consumption of psychostimulants in students of a private university in Lima, Peru, 2024. The sample consisted of 208 psychology students, whose ages ranged from 20 to 39 years, of which 64% were female and 39% male. The instruments used were two questionnaires, the first about sociodemographic data consisting of 5 questions and the second Young's Schema Questionnaire (YSQ-L2). From the results obtained, it was evident that in each schema there is a very strong significant correlation between early cognitive schemas and consumption of psychostimulants, of which the following indicators stand out: deprivation of needs 34.1%, thoughts of abandonment 38%, excessive distrust 37%, confused/insecure attachment 33.7%, self-sacrifice 34.7%, and self-sacrifice 34.7%. 7%, self-sacrifice 34.1%, emotional inhibition 34.6%, self demanding 33.7%, lack of self-interest 35.1%, grandiosity 37.5% and insufficient self-control 35.1%, while the substances with the highest consumption were coffee 25% and energy drinks 25%, as well as other psychostimulants with lower percentages in the study.
