Actitud y práctica sobre el tamizaje de papanicolaou en mujeres atendidas en el centro de salud Yauyos, Lima 2025

Abstract

Objetivo: Analizar la vinculación entre la actitud y la práctica en relación al tamizaje de Papanicolaou. Materiales y método: La investigación fue no experimental, con un enfoque cuantitativo, de nivel descriptivo, correlacional y de corte transversal. La población y la muestra estuvo compuesta por 80 mujeres atendidas en el Centro de Salud Yauyos. Para la recolección de datos se aplicó la técnica de encuesta, utilizando un cuestionario como instrumento. El primer cuestionario contenía 8 ítems y el segundo, 9 ítems. El grado de confiabilidad de ambos instrumentos, medido mediante el coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach, fue de 0,723 y 0,729 respectivamente, lo que indica que dichos instrumentos poseen un alto grado de confiabilidad para la recolección de información. Resultados: Los resultados obtenidos confirmaron la existencia de una relación positiva (Rho = 0,450) entre Actitud y práctica sobre el tamizaje de Papanicolaou. Conclusión: Esto implica que, a mayor nivel de actitud, mayor será la práctica sobre el tamizaje de Papanicolaou.

Objective: To analyze the link between attitude and practice regarding Pap smear screening. Materials and methods: This was a non-experimental, quantitative, descriptive, correlational, and cross-sectional study. The study population and sample consisted of 80 women receiving care at the Yauyos Health Center. Data collection was carried out using a survey method, with a questionnaire serving as the instrument. The first questionnaire contained 8 items, and the second contained 9 items. The reliability of both instruments, measured using Cronbach's alpha coefficient, was 0.723 and 0.729, respectively, indicating a high degree of reliability for data collection. Results: The results confirmed a positive relationship (Rho = 0.450) between attitude and practice regarding Pap smear screening. Conclusion: This implies that a higher level of attitude corresponds to a higher level of practice regarding Pap smear screening.
