Factores relacionados con la adquisición de medicamentos genéricos en pacientes que acuden a tres boticas alrededor del hospital Ica, 2025

Abstract

El objetivo de la investigación fue identificar los factores internos y externos relacionados con la adquisición de medicamentos genéricos en pacientes que acuden a tres boticas alrededor del hospital de Ica en el año 2025. Se desarrolló un estudio con enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básico, diseño no experimental, transversal y correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 359 pacientes, seleccionados por muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. La técnica de recolección fue la encuesta y se aplicaron cuestionarios. Los resultados descriptivos mostraron que, en la variable factores relacionados, el nivel regular fue el más representativo con 36,49 %, seguido del nivel alto con 25,07 % y bajo con 19,22 %. En los factores internos, predominó el nivel alto con 27,58 % y muy alto con 25,63 %, mientras que el regular alcanzó 23,40 %, confirmando percepciones mayoritariamente favorables hacia los medicamentos genéricos. En la variable adquisición de medicamentos genéricos, el 31,48 % se ubicó en nivel muy alto y el 26,46 % en nivel alto, de modo que más de la mitad de los pacientes (57,94 %) mostró disposición favorable hacia su compra. En el análisis inferencial, se halló una correlación de Spearman rs = 0,788 (p = 0,000) entre las variables y sus dimensiones factores internos (rs=0,744) y factores externos (rs=0,767). El estudio confirma que el fortalecimiento de estos factores favorece la preferencia y adquisición de medicamentos genéricos del Perú.

The objective of this research was to identify the internal and external factors related to the acquisition of generic medicines among patients who attend three drugstores around the Ica hospital in 2025. A study with a quantitative approach, basic type, non-experimental, cross sectional, and correlational design was carried out. The sample consisted of 359 patients, selected through non-probabilistic convenience sampling. The data collection technique was the survey, and questionnaires were applied. Descriptive results showed that, for the variable related factors, the regular level was the most representative with 36.49%, followed by the high level with 25.07% and low with 19.22%. Regarding internal factors, the high level predominated with 27.58% and very high with 25.63%, while the regular reached 23.40%, confirming mostly favorable perceptions toward generic medicines. For the variable acquisition of generic medicines, 31.48% were at a very high level and 26.46% at a high level, meaning that more than half of the patients (57.94%) showed a favorable disposition toward their purchase. Inferential analysis revealed a Spearman correlation of rs = 0.788 (p = 0.000) between the variables and their dimensions: internal factors (rs = 0.744) and external factors (rs = 0.767). The study confirms that the strengthening of these factors fosters the preference for and acquisition of generic medicines in Peru.
