Características clínicas y serología de Sars-Cov-2/Covid-19 en pacientes del hospital emergencia ate Vitarte, 2020

Abstract

La enfermedad ocasionada por SARS-CoV2/COVID-19 es un problema de salud pública mundial en el cual la mayoría de los países se declararon en emergencia sanitaria y cuarentena estricta al ser considerada una pandemia de alto riesgo. Objetivos: Determinar la relación entre las características clínicas y la serología de SARS-CoV2/COVID-19 de pacientes en el Hospital Emergencia Ate Vitarte, 2020. Material y método: Estudio cuantitativo, no experimental, transversal y correlacional. Para ello se tuvo una muestra de 339 pacientes (262 varones y 77 mujeres), que tuvieron entre 30 y 59 años. La recolección de la información fue mediante análisis documental. Los datos fueron codificados en una base de Excel y analizados en el programa estadístico SPSS. Resultados: Entre las características clínicas que presentaron se tuvieron a la dificultad respiratoria, tos, fiebre/escalofrío y malestar general como signos y/o síntomas principales, siendo los pacientes entre 30 a 59 años el grupo más afectado. La distribución del tipo de inmunoglobulinas en pacientes con serología reactiva de SARSCoV2/COVID-19 fue: un 91.1% tuvieron IgM/IgG, 6.5% tuvo IgG y un 2.4% tuvo IgM. La asociación entre las características clínicas y serología de SARS-CoV2/COVID-19 resultó no ser estadísticamente significativa (p>0.05). Se concluye que la dificultad respiratoria fue la manifestación clínica más importante, el grupo etáreo de 30 a 59 años, el género masculino y Lima como lugar de procedencia las características epidemiológicas más importante relacionada con la COVID-19 en el Hospital Emergencia Ate Vitarte, 2020

The disease caused by SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 is a global public health problem in which most countries have declared a health emergency and strict quarantine as it is considered a high-risk pandemic. Objectives: Determine the relationship between the clinical characteristics and the SARS-CoV2/COVID-19 serology of patients at the Ate Vitarte Emergency Hospital, 2020. Material and method: Quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational study. For this, a sample of 339 patients (262 men and 77 women), who were between 30 and 59 years old, was taken. The information was collected through documentary analysis. The data was coded in an Excel database and analyzed in the statistical program SPSS. Results: Among the clinical characteristics presented were respiratory distress, cough, fever/chills and general discomfort as main signs and/or symptoms, with patients between 30 and 59 years of age being the most affected group. The distribution of the type of immunoglobulins in patients with reactive SARS-CoV2/COVID-19 serology was: 91.1% had IgM/IgG, 6.5% had IgG and 2.4% had IgM. The association between clinical characteristics and SARS-CoV2/COVID-19 serology was not statistically significant (p>0.05). It is concluded that respiratory distress was the most important clinical manifestation, the age group from 30 to 59 years, the male gender and Lima as the place of origin, the most important epidemiological characteristics related to COVID-19 in the Hospital Emergencia Ate Vitarte, 2020.
