Adherencia al tratamiento y calidad de vida en pacientes con hipertensión que acuden a un centro de salud de Lima Norte, 2022

Abstract

El presente estudio tuvo como fin determinar la relación existente entre adherencia al tratamiento y calidad de vida en pacientes con hipertensión que acuden a un centro de salud. Debido a ello, se presentó un estudio de método deductivo, cuantitativo, nivel correlacional, aplicada y de diseño no experimental, donde se identificó un grupo muestral de 94 pacientes con hipertensión que acuden a un centro de salud de Lima Norte. Los resultados obtenidos demuestran la existencia de relación positiva moderada entre la variable calidad de vida y las dimensiones frecuencia en la que toma el medicamento con un p=0.000, Rho=0.426 y estado de ánimo durante el tratamiento con un p=0.000, Rho=0.556; asimismo, la variable adherencia al tratamiento mantuvo una relación significativa moderada entre las dimensiones calidad de vida física con un p=0.000, Rho=0.490; calidad de vida psicológica con un p=0.000, Rho=0.617 y calidad de vida social con un p=0.000, Rho=0.545. En consecuencia, se identificó relación significativa positiva moderada entre las variables adherencia al tratamiento y calidad de vida en pacientes con hipertensión que acuden a un centro de salud con un P=0.000 y un Rho=0.679, demostrando que a mayor adherencia al tratamiento mejor será la calidad de vida del paciente con hipertensión.

The main objective of this research was to determine the relationship between adherence to treatment and quality of life in patients with hypertension who attend a health center. Due to this, a study of deductive, quantitative method, correlational level, applied and nonexperimental design was presented, where a sample group of 94 patients with hypertension who attended a health center in North Lima was identified. The results obtained demonstrate the existence of a moderate positive relationship between the quality of life variable and the dimensions of the frequency in which the medication is taken with p=0.000, Rho=0.426 and mood during treatment with p=0.000, Rho= 0.556; likewise, the variable adherence to treatment maintained a moderately significant relationship between the physical quality of life dimensions with p=0.000, Rho=0.490; psychological quality of life with p=0.000, Rho=0.617 and social quality of life with p=0.000, Rho=0.545. Consequently, a moderate positive significant relationship was identified between the variable’s adherence to treatment and quality of life in patients with hypertension who attend a health center with a P=0.000 and a Rho=0.679, demonstrating that the greater the adherence to treatment, the better the quality of life of the patient with hypertension.
