Percepción de riesgo y su relación en conductas de prevención ante el COVID-19 en usuarios que asisten al Centro de Salud San Luis, Lima - 2022

Abstract

Introducción: El problema del Covid-19 a nivel mundial a demandando a la población a adoptar estrictamente una conducta de prevención frente a situación amenazante para su integridad física y emocional. El objetivo: determinar la relación que existe entre la percepción de riesgo y conductas de prevención ante el Covid-19 en usuarios que asisten al Centro de Salud San Luis. Método: El estudio describe un diseño correlacional y de corte transversal. Participaron en el estudio 100 usuarios. Para recolección de datos se usó instrumento “percepción de riesgo” elaborado por Romero y “Conductas preventivas” elaborado por Matar, ambas con una confiabilidad óptima para su aplicación. Resultados: Se mostro que el 57% son menores de 35 años y el 69% de sexo femenino. También que el 70% tiene percepción ante el Covid- 19 y el 68% tiene una conducta preventiva media. Así mismo existe una relación significativa con un valor de p= 0.031 en relación a las variables de estudio. Se concluye que existe una relación significativa entre las variables de estudio. Además, es necesario mejorar las estrategias de prevención que debe conocer la población para evitar contagiar y contagiarse del Covid- 19.

Results: It was shown that 57% are under 35 years of age and 69% are female. Also, that 70% have a perception of Covid-19 and 68% have an average preventive behavior. Likewise, there is a significant relationship with a value of p= 0.031 in relation to the study variables. It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between the study variables. In addition, it is necessary to improve the prevention strategies that the population should know to avoid infecting and catching Covid-19.
