Alcoholemia y actitudes protectoras de los conductores en la provincia de Abancay - Apurímac, año 2024

Abstract

Los accidentes de tránsito es una problemática de salud pública a nivel mundial debido a la cantidad de vidas humanas que se pierden día a día, esta situación se agrava cuando el conductor alcoholizado es más propenso a sufrir accidentes debido a que se debilita la capacidad de reacción y comparado con otro en igual estado, si su personalidad y actitudes lo hacen asumir riesgos adicionales desencadenan en la ocurrencia de un evento con consecuencia fatal. En ese sentido, esta investigación formula conocer si existe o no relación entre el grado de alcoholemia y actitudes protectoras en conductores de la provincia de Abancay año 2024, por ello efectuándose un estudio de tipo descriptivo, retrospectivo de corte transversal. Para la aplicación se recopiló información del grado de alcoholemia de los conductores de la provincia de Abancay sometidos al dosaje etílico en años 2021, 2022 y 2023 que hayan participado en accidentes de tránsito y encuestando a 292 conductores para las actitudes protectoras. Los resultados prevalece la alcoholemia en grado de ebriedad (66.7%) y ebriedad absoluta (48.4%), alcoholemia y actitudes (Chi-cuadrado 7.437 con valor p=0.282), alcoholemia y dimensión cognitiva (Chi-cuadrado 5.813 con valor p=0.668), alcoholemia y dimensión Afectiva (Chi-cuadrado 11.430 con valor p=0.076), alcoholemia y la dimensión Conductual (Chi-cuadrado 7.079 con valor p=0.528). En caso de la variable actitud, las 3 dimensiones prevalece el nivel neutro o indeciso con la cognitiva (56.2%); afectiva (46.6%) y conductual (48.3%). Concluyéndose que no existe relación significativa entre la alcoholemia y actitudes protectoras en los conductores.

Traffic accidents are a public health problem worldwide due to the number of human lives lost every day. This situation worsens when the drunk driver is more prone to accidents because the ability to react is weakened. and compared to another in the same state, if his personality and attitudes make him take additional risks, they trigger the occurrence of an event with fatal consequences. In this sense, this research aims to know whether or not there is a relationship between the level of alcohol and protective attitudes in drivers in the province of Abancay in 2024, therefore carrying out a descriptive, retrospective, cross-sectional study. For the application, information was collected on the blood alcohol level of drivers in the province of Abancay subjected to alcohol testing in the years 2021, 2022 and 2023 who have participated in traffic accidents and surveying 292 drivers for protective attitudes. The results predominate alcohol level of drunkenness (66.7%) and absolute drunkenness (48.4%), alcohol level and attitudes (Chi-square 7.437 with p value=0.282), alcohol level and cognitive dimension (Chi-square 5.813 with p value=0.668 ), alcohol level and the Affective dimension (Chi-square 11.430 with p value=0.076), alcohol level and the Behavioral dimension (Chi-square 7.079 with p value=0.528). In the case of the attitude variable, the 3 dimensions prevail, the neutral or undecided level prevails with the cognitive (56.2%); affective (46.6%) and behavioral (48.3%).
