Publicación Acceso abierto Violencia familiar durante el embarazo y su asociación con el número de controles prenatales, según Endes 2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-09-28) Antonio Espinoza, Elvira Angie; Maguiña Palma, Misael EriksonObjective: To determine the association between family violence during pregnancy and the number of prenatal check-ups, according to ENDES 2019. Materials and methods: Correlational, non-experimental, cross-sectional study. The variables of family violence and prenatal check-ups were studied in 236 women who answered the ENDES 2019 questionnaire and met the selection criteria. A secondary base analysis of the 2019 Demographic and Family Health Survey was performed, and a bivariate analysis was used using the Spearman's Rho correlation test. Results: The results show that, of the total number of respondents, 69.90% presented some type of family violence; of which, 43.20% have less than 6 NPCs and 26.70% more than 6 NPCs. Likewise, it was found that there is a significant difference between family violence during pregnancy and the number of prenatal check-ups (P=0.000). With the aforementioned, the research hypothesis is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected. Conclusion: There is a statistically significant association between family violence during pregnancy and the number of prenatal check-ups, according to ENDES 2019.
