Publicación Acceso abierto Factores relacionados a la anemia en infantes menores de 3 años del Centro de Salud Santa Eulalia, Huarochiri-2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-10-09) Arias Cuenca, Sandra Vanessa; Yacarini Martínez, Antero EnriqueObjective: Determine which factors are related to the presence of anemia in infants under 3 years of age at the Santa Eulalia Health Center, Huarochirí-2024. Methodology: The method was hypothetical-deductive, with a quantitative approach, applied type with correlational scope and non-experimental, transversal-observational design. Results: Of 124 infants under 3 years of age, 22.6% have anemia, and according to the analysis of the relationship between sociodemographic, environmental and nutritional factors, they have no significant relationship (p>0.05) with the presence of anemia; However, health factors have a significant relationship (p=0.015< 0.05) with the presence of anemia; In addition, the value of Cramer's V is 0.274, having a direct and small relationship, 37.9% of the mothers who had anemia during pregnancy had children with anemia, diarrheal diseases have a direct and moderate significant relationship (p<0.01) with the presence of anemia; Furthermore, with Cramer's V equal to 0.413, 44.7% of infants with diarrhea in the last 2 months have anemia, the presence of intestinal parasitosis has a significant relationship with the presence of anemia with p<0.01; Furthermore, the value of Cramer's V coefficient is 0.586, this indicates a direct and large relationship, 37.9% of infants with parasitosis have anemia. Conclusions: Anemia responds to multiple risk factors; therefore 3 health factors were found that are significantly related to the presence of anemia.
