Publicación Acceso abierto Uso de las Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación en la educación virtual y su efecto en la salud de escolares en tres instituciones educativas de Junín - Perú, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-05-31) Rueda Huamán, Yuliana; Arispe Alburqueque, Claudia MilagrosObjective: To determine the relationship between the use of information and communication technologies in virtual education and its effect on the health of schoolchildren. Method: Hypothetical deductive, quantitative, non-experimental and correlational design. An instrument prepared by the researcher, validated by 10 expert judges and a Cronbach's alpha of .815, with a significance level of 0.5 in both variables, was used. The population was made up of schoolchildren from three Educational Institutions of the Tambo District, Department of Junín. Peru. Results: 481 schoolchildren were surveyed, within the personal factors the sex that most predominated was male (57%), the age that predominated was 11 years (31.2%), and the grade they were in was 5th grade. (30.6%). The general hypothesis was contrasted, there being a significant relationship between the use of ICT in virtual education with the health of schoolchildren (Rho=.343). There was also a significant correlation between the use of ICTs with the ocular dimension (Rho=.167), in the same way there was a significant correlation between the use of ICTs with the oral health dimension (Rho=.230), the use of ICT with the mental health dimension the correlation was significant (Rho=.360), in the same way there was a significant correlation between the use of ICT with the postural health dimension (Rho=.216), likewise there was a significant correlation between the use of ICT with the dimension of nutritional habits (Rho=.226) Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the use of research and communication technologies in virtual education and its effect on the health of students in three educational institutions in Junín- Peru, 2022.
