    The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic led nations to adopt measures to curb its spread; however, it remains to be evaluated how confinement affected individuals. Objective: To determine the relationship between "changes in lifestyle during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic" and body mass index (BMI) in residents of the AA. HH Las Lomas de Las Flores, San Juan de Lurigancho. Method: Observational, non-experimental, correlational study. A total of 150 people participated. Two data collection forms were used to gather information, which was processed using SPSS version 26. Results: Of the participants, 46% were men and 54% women. A total of 42% had a normal BMI, 36.7% were overweight, and 21.3% were obese. Among the obese residents, 32.1% experienced a decrease in lifestyle quality, while 68% reported an improvement in lifestyle, with this latter group primarily having a normal BMI. Conclusion: It was found that there is a relationship between "changes in lifestyle during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic" and the body mass index of the residents of AA.
