Publicación Acceso abierto Uso tradicional de “Foeniculum vulgare” (Hinojo) en los pobladores que acuden al mercado el Olivar de Cerro Candela, Lima 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-09-25) Ñañez Villafuerte, Stif Daniel; Ñañez del Pino, DanielThis study was conducted to identify the traditional uses of "Foeniculum vulgare" (fennel) among residents who frequent the El Olivar market in Cerro Candela, Lima, 2024. It was deductive in nature, with a quantitative approach and a non-experimental design. The sample consisted of 384 adults. Data was collected through a survey and analyzed using Cronbach's alpha. 53.6% of the participants were female, 52.6% were between 36 and 50 years old, 46.9% were married, and more than half (51.8%) had a secondary education level. 84.9% indicated that they used the leaves or flowers, while the stem was mentioned frequently by 34.6% of users. Infusions were used by 83.9%, and decoctions were used. 26.8%. It was determined that the leaves or flowers were used by 84.9% of users of the plant “Foeniculum vulgare”, followed by the stem, which was always used by 34.6%.
