    Adherence to treatment and quality of life of the hemodialysis patient in a clinic in Lima - 2022

    Objective: Determine the relationship that exists between adherence to treatment and the quality of life of the patient on hemodialysis in a Clinic in Lima Methodology: The type of research will correspond to the applied, the approach to the quantitative, the design will be observational, level correlational, and cross-sectional. Population and Sample: The population addressed will correspond to 100 patients, to which the respective probabilistic calculation will be carried out, determining that the sample will be equivalent to 81 individuals. The corresponding instruments will be applied to this sample in the period from November to December 2022. Technique and Instruments: The technique to be applied will be the survey and the instruments to be applied correspond to the questionnaires for evaluating therapeutic adherence and quality of life ( Health Survey-SF36), which have a Cronbach's Alpha reliability equivalent to 0.85 and 0.83 respectively. Data processing and analysis: The data will be recorded in an Excel template for classification and control, being processed, and the existing relationship between the variables treated in the research will be established, through the Chi Square statistical test to count the study. with qualitative variables.

    Arteriovenous fistula in the prevention of complictions in an adult patient in treatment of hemodialysis

    Objective: To systematize the results of arteriovenous fistulas in preventing complications in adult patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment. Material and Methods: A systematic, observational, and retrospective review of a quantitative nature, subjected to critical evaluation using the GRADE assessment method to indicate the level of evidence. The articles were found in the following databases: PubMed, ScienceDirect, Scielo, Wiley Online Library, Elsevier, and Epistemonikos. Of the 10 articles reviewed, 40% (n=4/10) are systematic reviews, 10% (n=1/10) is a meta-analysis, 20% (n=2/10) are cross-sectional reviews, 20% (n=2/10) are prospective reviews, and 10% (n=1/10) is a case-control study. According to the evaluation of the systematic review, the articles came from Cuba, followed by Spain and Mexico. Results: All the evaluations found (100%, n=10/10) indicate that arteriovenous fistulas cause fewer complications than a venous catheter. Conclusion: The use of arteriovenous fistulas is more effective in treating adult patients undergoing hemodialysis.

    Autocuidado del acceso vascular y calidad de vida en pacientes en hemodiálisis de una clínica privada en Chincha 2025

    La enfermedad renal crónica (ERC) constituye un problema creciente de salud pública a nivel mundial, con una prevalencia en aumento, asociada al envejecimiento poblacional, la diabetes mellitus y la hipertensión arterial. La hemodiálisis es una de las principales terapias de sustitución renal, que depende del uso de un acceso vascular funcional y seguro, como la fístula arteriovenosa o el catéter venoso central. El objetivo: determinar la relación entre el autocuidado del acceso venoso y la calidad de vida en pacientes en hemodiálisis de una clínica privada en Chincha, 2025. Metodología: Investigación de tipo aplicada, de enfoque cuantitativo, nivel correlacional, diseño no experimental y corte transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 83 pacientes seleccionados mediante muestreo probabilístico, a partir de una población de 105 pacientes en tratamiento. La recolección de datos se realizó a través de cuestionarios estructurados y validados para cada variable de estudio. La información fue procesada y analizada con el software estadístico SPSS, aplicándose estadística descriptiva e inferencial. Los resultados se presentan en tablas y gráficos, y permitieron establecer si existe una relación estadísticamente significativa entre el nivel de autocuidado del acceso venoso y la calidad de vida en la población estudiada.

    Benefits of the Kangaroo Mother Method in preterm newborns of 34 to 36 weeks in the intermediate care unit of a specialized institute, 2020

    The present research project, titled “Knowledge About Newborn Care in Adolescent Mothers, Specialized Institute of Lima, 2020”, aims to determine the knowledge about newborn care in adolescent mothers. The study evaluates knowledge across three dimensions: physical care, warning signs, and early stimulation of newborns. The research approach is quantitative, with data quantifiable for statistical analysis. The study is descriptive and cross-sectional, providing information as it is obtained. The sample consists of 80 adolescent mothers who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The technique used will be the survey, and the data collection instrument is a structured questionnaire. The conclusion is based on evidence from national and international studies showing that most adolescent mothers have an average knowledge level about newborn care.

    Burnout syndrome among intensive care unit nurses at a MINSA hospital in Metropolitan Lima – 2020

    The objective of this research project is to determine the level of Burnout Syndrome in the nursing staff of the Intensive Care Unit of a Minsa hospital in metropolitan Lima, evaluating the three dimensions of burnout: Psychological Exhaustion, Depersonalization and Personal Accomplishment. For this purpose, the Maslach Burnout Inventory Services Survey (MBI-HSS) will be used. The type of study is descriptive, cross-sectional, quantitative approach and non-experimental design. The type of sampling is non-probabilistic for convenience with a population made up of 55 nursing professionals from the intensive care area of a MINSA hospital. The results will then be analyzed and the most appropriate recommendations will be provided to the study group.

    Burnout Syndrome and job performance in nurses at a hospital in the de los hospitals de EsSalud, Ica - 2023

    The objective of this research project is to identify the relationship between the level of Burnout Syndrome and job performance in nurses at a hospital in the de los hospitals de EsSalud, Ica -2023. Methodology: It corresponds to a correlational design study, with a quantitative approach, cross-sectional, in which the Burnout Syndrome variable will be investigated through the survey technique using the Maslach Scale as an instrument, while, for job performance, a validated questionnaire will be used where a population of 25 nursing professionals who work in the Intensive care unit for more than six months. The results will be obtained in a descriptive way according to the stated objectives determined according to the score achieved according to the high, medium and low-level Burnout Syndrome and the same values for work performance, likewise, cross tables and graphs will be constructed which will be interpreted and the contrast of hypotheses will be done through the Chi square statistic. The conclusions will be determined according to the stated objectives.

    In health personnel, multiple risk components pre-exist that increase the vulnerability of suffering burnout, coping with pain, the death of people based on the performance of their work, as well as the lack of autonomy and in some cases of authority have an impact on the decisions, working quickly and even more so with long hours of work, as well as versatile tasks, exposure to health hazards, inadequate circumstances at work, insufficient wages, as well as little support from society. This research work will be carried out with the purpose of determining the relationship between job satisfaction and burnout syndrome in health personnel who work in the Mental Health service of a Hospital in Ayacucho, 2021. The research has a quantitative approach. basic type, cross-sectional observational design. The population group will be made up of 32 personnel who work in the Mental Health service. For data collection, questionnaires will be used for both variables, prior to this with permission and respective consent of the informed consent of the collaborators, the first questionnaire consists of 27 questions, while the second questionnaire has 22 questions. The results will be compiled and then processed in an Excel program database to later be tabulated using the SPSS version 22 statistical program.

    The Pan American Health Organization, PAHO, indicates that there is a high rate of suffering from stress; therefore, this human group meets the excessive demand of patients, since it is exposed to this disease, therefore, wellness policies were presented that affect the prevention of Burnout and the reduction of the symptoms of this pathology, associated with job satisfaction. Although reports on the correlation between the variables Job Satisfaction and the variable Burnout Syndrome are scarce, in our country, the average prevalence in health centers is an alarming 12.5% ​​of professionals with Burnout Syndrome, although in the interior of the country the results are heterogeneous, 12.5; they always approach the eighth part of the total. Likewise, being the Ate Vitarte Emergency Hospital, a new hospital, it is observed that Health professionals decrease their effectiveness at work, so the general objective was to determine the relationship between burnout syndrome and job satisfaction of the nursing professional in the emergency area of ​​​​the Ate Vitarte Emergency Hospital in 2020.

    Objective: To determine the relationship between Burnout Syndrome and Job Satisfaction of the nursing staff of the emergency service of the Vitarte Hospital - 2020 Material and method: The research responds to the deductive method with the quantitative approach, it is presented in a hierarchical way, so the Burnout Syndrome will be generalized, as well as the job satisfaction of the Nursing staff of the Emergency Service of the Vitarte Hospital, the population that constitutes it by the Nursing Staff of the Emergency Service of the Vitarte Hospital, which is 50 professionals, the survey technique was used and the instrument is the Likert scale, which describes the presentation, instructions and the questionnaire called the Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire assesses 3 dimensions or subscales: Exhaustion or emotional exhaustion subscale. Its content validity was made and it was submitted to expert judgment, reliability was found by applying Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient obtaining a value of 0.712 which indicated excellent reliability according to the classification in the Kuder Richarson table. Data processing was done using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25.0, and Excel for Windows 2016 was also used to empty the data according to a structured matrix as a database in relation to the measuring instrument.

    Burnout syndrome and quality of care emergency service of a maternal and child center of MINSA-Lima 2021

    Objective: To determine the relationship between burnout syndrome and the quality of care in the emergency service of a Maternal and Child Center of the Minsa-Lima 2021 Methods: the study will be observational, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional. The population is 105 nursing professionals from the Emergency Service of a Maternal and Child Center of the Minsa-Lima 2021 and the sample of 83 nursing professionals for data collection, the Maslach Burnout Inventory of 22 items will be used considering the following dimensions; Emotional Exhaustion (9 items); depersonalization (5 items) and professional frustration (8 items) for the case of the quality of care variable, a 22-item observation sheet will be used considering the following dimensions; Interpersonal component (10 items); technical component (6 items) and environmental component (6 items). The data will be statistically processed with Spearman's correlation coefficient and presented in tables and figures.

    The study will focus on an extremely critical problem within the field of neonatal intensive care, due to the risk that burnout syndrome means for nurses physically, psychologically and emotionally, aspects that result in the quality of care, which can be significantly affected. negatively, exposing them to the occurrence of various risks or adverse events that can endanger their lives and that of the patients. Objective: Determine the relationship between burnout syndrome and quality of nursing care in the neonatal intensive care service of a hospital in Lima, 2022. Materials and methods: The study uses a hypothetical deductive method, quantitative approach, basic type. and non-experimental design. 50 nurses and 50 parents will participate. The survey will be used and the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) validated by María Huanca in 2018 and the questionnaire will be applied to measure the quality of care variable developed by Roxana Puicón in 2022. The levels obtained by each variable will be measured at through Spearman's non-parametric Rho test.

    Burnout syndrome and strategies for coping with stress in nurses of the intensive care unit of the Lima hospital, 2022

    The existence of chronic stress at work causes burnout, a group at high risk of developing this syndrome are nursing professionals who provide care to critically ill patients, therefore it is essential that they have strategies to deal with complicated situations; so that they can provide humanized and efficient care. The objective is to determine how the burnout syndrome is related to the stress coping strategies of the nurses of the intensive care unit of the Lima 2022 hospital, the methodology will be hypothetical deductive, quantitative approach, the type of research will be applied. The design of this study will be observational, non-experimental, correlational, cross-sectional. This study will have a sample of 80 care nurses who work in the intensive care unit of the Lima hospital, the survey technique will be used, the instrument is a questionnaire to identify burnout syndrome called Maslach Burnout Inventory (22 items) and for the evaluation of stress coping strategies, the COPE stress coping estimation inventory (28 items) will be used. Both instruments use a Likert scale for their responses. The reliability of the Maslach and Jackson questionnaire is 0.90 for emotional exhaustion, 0.79 for depersonalization, and 0.71 for personal fulfillment, with an internal consistency for all items of 0.80. The authors of COPE obtained a reliability through the Cronbach alpha coefficient of 0.45 and 0.92.

    The healthcare staff constantly faces stressful scenarios inherent to their roles in care delivery and administration. This study aims to measure the relationship between Burnout Syndrome and job performance among healthcare staff during the COVID-19 pandemic at a community mental health center in Cusco, 2021. The research adopts a quantitative approach, is of an applied type, and follows a non-experimental, correlational, cross-sectional design. The population consists of 117 healthcare staff members, with a sample size of 90 participants. Data collection was conducted through a survey using two instruments: a Burnout Syndrome questionnaire and a Job Performance questionnaire, both administered with prior authorization and informed consent from participants. The first questionnaire comprises 22 items, while the second contains 11 items. The collected data will be tabulated and processed using Excel and SPSS statistical software version 22. Descriptive and inferential statistics will be applied, with results presented through tables and graphs.

    Characterizations of physical-verbal aggressions in health professionals working in hospitals

    This study is based on a systematic review based on a bibliographic search of a set of 10 articles that meet the inclusion criteria and are less than 6 years old. Four of them were systematic reviews, three were descriptive cross-sectional studies, three were exploratory qualitative studies, a cross-sectional study using an optional electronic survey, and a non-experimental quantitative cross-sectional and descriptive study. The GRADE system assessment study was used, which identifies the quality of evidence and the strength of the recommendation. Various scientific databases were used to search for evidence. Of the 10 articles investigated, 100% (10/10) demonstrated the characterizations of physical and verbal aggression in health professionals working in hospitals. It was found that most cases of abuse at the occupational level correspond to the health sector, which damages the productivity and performance of the institutions that provide this type of services.

    Complications associated with the use of non-invasive mechanical ventilation in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in the adult emergency service

    Objective: Systematize evidence on the complications associated with the use of NIV in patients with exacerbated COPD, thus putting into practice the appropriate application of nursing care in these patients, for the prevention of these complications. Material and Methods: The quantitative observational and retrospective systematic review was used, which were subjected to critical selection, the Grade evaluation system was used, the degree of evidence of the 10 articles systematically reviewed was identified. Results: 100% (n= 10/10) determined that there are complications associated with the use of non-invasive mechanical ventilation in patients with exacerbated COPD, the most notable being: lacerations on the forehead and nose (70%), discomfort, being responsible 12 to 30% of NIV failures, gastric distention, dry eyes and mouth. Conclusion: There are complications associated with the use of NIV in patients with exacerbated COPD: lacerations, on the forehead and nose, and they are related to the patient and ventilator interface at the time of placing the mask on the patients, dry eyes and mouth, feeling of claustrophobia, anxiety, restlessness, gastric distension, aspiration pneumonia.

    Conocimiento sobre inmunizaciones y cumplimiento del esquema de vacunación en madres venezolanas de niños menores de 5 años, Centro Materno Infantil Manuel Barreto Lima - 2024

    Objetivo: “Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento sobre inmunizaciones y el cumplimiento del esquema de vacunación en madres venezolanas, de niños menores de 5 años, en el Centro Materno Infantil “Manuel Barreto”- Lima – 2024”. El método de investigación, fue hipotético – deductivo, con un enfoque cuantitativo y de tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental, corte transversal y nivel correlacional. La población fue de 180 madres, con una muestra de 122 participantes. Instrumento: Para evaluar el conocimiento sobre inmunizaciones, se utilizó un cuestionario de creación propia, validado mediante una prueba piloto con 30 madres venezolanas, obteniendo un Alfa de Cronbach de 0,794. Para evaluar el cumplimiento del esquema de vacunación, se usó una lista de chequeo que no requirió prueba de confiabilidad por su naturaleza. La recolección de datos se realizó por encuestas y el análisis de datos con SPSS versión 25. Las variables cualitativas se analizaron con frecuencias y las pruebas de Chi-Cuadrado, Mann-Whitney y la correlación de Spearman se usaron para las hipótesis. Resultados: Se obtuvo que el cumplimiento del esquema de vacunación en madres venezolanas, tuvo correlación positiva con el nivel de conocimiento sobre inmunizaciones (Rho=0,41; p < 0,001). Asimismo, esta relación positiva se encontró con el nivel de conocimiento sobre la administración de las vacunas (Rho = 0,521; p < 0,001) y el nivel de conocimientos generales (Rho = 0,183; p = 0,043). Conclusiones: Existe relación significativa entre el nivel de conocimiento sobre inmunizaciones y el cumplimiento del esquema de vacunación, de niños menores de 5 años.

    La principal causa de la mortalidad neonatal se relaciona a complicaciones de la prematuridad, la aplicación de la presión positiva continua en las vías respiratorias para tratar problemas respiratorios, es una opción terapéutica simple en la forma de administrar y menos invasiva, disminuyendo considerablemente la mortalidad en neonatos prematuros. El presente trabajo se desarrollará con el objetivo de determinar el nivel conocimiento y práctica sobre la presión positiva continúa de las vías aéreas del profesional de enfermería de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatal de un hospital Essalud, Lima 2024. El estudio será de tipo de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, descriptivo correlacional y de corte transversal. La población del estudio se conformará por 87 profesionales de enfermería del servicio de Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales de un hospital Essalud de Lima. Para la recopilación de datos se empleará un cuestionario y una guía de observación. Los resultados serán recolectados y procesados mediante la utilización del paquete estadístico SPSS versión 30.
