Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of outpatient laparoscopic cholecystectomy versus traditional inpatient laparoscopic cholecystectomy(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-02-17) Ayala Vasquez, Giovanna Jessica; Rojas Llanco, Maria Janet; Uturunco Vera, Milagros LizbethMaterial and Methods: Systematic observational and retrospective quantitative review, subjected to critical selection, using the Grade evaluation system to identify the degree of evidence, found in the following databases: Pubmed, Scielo, Cochrane, epistemonikos, Elsevier. Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed, 20% (n= 2/10) are case-control study reviews, 10% (n=1/10) are cohort study reviews, 30% (n=3/ 10) are Meta-analysis study reviews, 30% (n=3/10) are Randomized study reviews, 10% (n=1/10) are observational study reviews. The articles come from the countries of Spain (20%), followed by Brazil (10%), China (10%), United States (10%), Honduras (10%), Colombia (10%), Japan (10% ), United Kingdom (10%) and Malaysia (10%). Results: Of the evidence found, 90% (n=9/10) indicate that outpatient laparoscopic cholecystectomy is as efficient and safe with optimal satisfaction and no complications as laparoscopic cholecystectomy with hospitalization, while only 10% (n= 1/10) of elderly patients indicate that they prefer to be hospitalized.
