Materials and Methods: This was a quantitative, correlational, non-experimental, and cross-sectional study. The sample consisted of 196 nursing professionals working in the hospital's inpatient areas, selected through non-probability convenience sampling. The instruments used were the Care Skills Inventory and a questionnaire on work conditions. Results: In terms of humanized care ability, 75.15% had medium-level skills, 18.93% had low-level skills, and 5.92% had high-level skills. Regarding work conditions, 80.47% were at a regular level, and 19.53% were at a good level. When correlating both variables, it was found that humanized care ability had a medium level in relation to work conditions, with 61.5% of respondents reporting regular work conditions. In terms of dimensions of humanized care ability, 42% had a high level in knowledge, 71.6% had a low level in values, and 46.2% had a medium level in patience. Conclusion: The work conditions faced by nursing staff at the Daniel Alcides Carrión National Hospital significantly correlate with the level of humanized care ability (p = 0.000 → p < 0.05). Better work conditions are associated with higher levels of humanized care ability.Publicación Acceso abierto CONDICIONES DE REÚSO DEL DIALIZADOR, ASOCIADO A INFECCIONES POR HEPATITIS B Y C EN UNA CLÍNICA RENAL PRIVADA LIMA 2017(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-03-22) Montes Orosco, Martha Maritza; Borda Izquierdo, AlejandroObjetivo: Determinar las condiciones del reúso del dializador, asociado a infecciones por hepatitis B y C en la clínica renal privada 2017. Materiales y Métodos: El estudio fue de tipo cuantitativo, descriptivo correlacional, La población es de 50 pacientes hemodializados con sistema integral de salud, los instrumentos utilizados fueron la lista de cotejo para las dos variables, se evaluó con modelos de regresión logística. Resultados: A través del análisis se pudo determinar las condiciones de reúso de infección por hepatitis no se encontraron relaciones significativas y en relación a la infección por hepatitis, el 12% tenía VHB, 32% tenía VHC y 34% tenía por lo menos una de estas infecciones. En relación a las condiciones de reúso ninguno de ellos se relaciona significativamente con el diagnóstico de hepatitis B o C. Las reacciones pirógenas no se asocian con el diagnóstico de hepatitis (valor p = 0,914), también se verifica en el odd ratio igual a 0,94 (0,29-3,03) que evidencia que no existe relación dado que el intervalo de confianza incluye al valor uno. De modo similar las variables: riesgo de infección no se asocia con el diagnóstico de hepatitis (valor p = 0,955), se concluyó qué las condiciones de reúso del dializador no se asocian a las infecciones por Hepatitis B y C.Publicación Acceso abierto CONDICIONES LABORALES Y HABILIDAD DEL CUIDADO HUMANIZADO EN EL ENFERMERO/A DEL HOSPITAL NACIONAL DANIEL ALCIDES CARRIÓN, LIMA 2018.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-08-14) Albornoz Carlos, Virginia; Borda Izquierdo, AlejandroMaterial y Métodos: Enfoque cuantitativo, correlacional, no experimental y de corte transversal. La muestra constituida por 196 profesionales de enfermería que laboran en las áreas de hospitalización, los cuales fueron seleccionados a través del muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia, el instrumento utilizado fue el inventario de habilidades del cuidado y un cuestionario de condiciones laborales. Resultados: En la habilidad del cuidado humanizado se halló el 75,15% nivel medio, el 18,93% nivel bajo y el 5,92% nivel alto. De igual forma, en las condiciones laborales expresadas resultaron con 80,47% nivel regular, el 19,53% nivel buena. Al correlacionar las dos variables de estudio se encontró que la habilidad del cuidado humanizado mantiene un nivel medio en relación a las condiciones laborales con un nivel regular 61,5%, según dimensiones en habilidad del cuidado humanizado, los resultados muestran que en la dimensión conocimiento el 42% obtienen un nivel alto, en la dimensión valor el 71,6% obtienen un nivel bajo, y en la dimensión paciencia el 46.2% tiene un nivel medio. Materials and Methods: The study was quantitative, descriptive, correlational. The population is 50 hemodialyzed patients with a comprehensive health, the instruments used were the checklist for the two variables, it was evaluated with logistic regression models. Results: Through the analysis it was possible to determine the conditions of reuse of hepatitis infection, no significant relationships were found and in relation to hepatitis infection, 12% had HBV, 32% had HCV and 34% had at least one of these infections. In relation to the conditions of reuse, none of them are significantly related to the diagnosis of hepatitis B or C. Pyrogenic reactions are not associated with the diagnosis of hepatitis (p value = 0.914), which is also verified in the odd ratio equal to 0. .94 (0.29-3.03) which shows that there is no relationship since the confidence interval includes the value one. Materials and Methods: A systematic review of the 10 scientific articles that synthesizes the multiple investigations was used. Which are part of evidence-based nursing due to its rigorous methodology, identifying relevant studies to answer specific questions, the articles were found in the following database Scielo, Lipecs, Lilacs, Medline and Pubmed. 10 articles were chosen, from countries such as South Africa, Brazil, Croatia, Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Spain. Considering the research designs, nine Cohort studies and one randomized clinical trial were included. Results: Of the total of 10 articles analyzed, 100% show a cost effectiveness in the implementation of the human papillomavirus vaccine in an immunization program. . Evidence-based nursing is characterized by its rigorous methodology, identifying select studies to answer specific questions of clinical practice. The present investigation has been limited to articles specific to the research topic, the selected articles were subjected to rigorous analysis and reading, the grade system was used to determine the strength of recommendation. Results: For this research, 10 scientific articles with the highest level of evidence were selected. Materials and Methods: Systematic reviews are a form of research that compiles and provides a summary on a specific topic (aimed at answering a research question); They must be carried out according to a pre-established design. It is a systematic review of 10 selected articles, using the database Epistemonikos, Pubmed, Researchgate, Scielo, Open library. The 10 articles selected are quantitative research, 40% (4) are systematic review, 20% (2) are quasi-experimental, 20% (2) are cohort, and 10% (1) are cross-sectional. Results: In the final selection, 10 articles were chosen, we found that 30% (03) correspond to Finland and the United States, while with 10% (01) we find Spain, Norway, England and Denmark respectively. In this systematic review, according to the evidence found, it is concluded that the effectiveness of interventions to prevent hearing loss in workers exposed to occupational noise is the application of technical measures, the implementation of hearing loss prevention programs, a shorter duration of occupational exposure to noise and the application of stricter legislation. The grade system was used as a tool to evaluate the quality of evidence and grade the strength of recommendation. Results: In the conclusive selection, the research that was optimal for our research according to importance were 10 articles, of which we found that 40% correspond to studies from Spain, 30% from Australia, 10% from Norway, 10% from Brazil and 10% from Brazil. to Taiwan respectively. The research analyzed mostly belongs to the Randomized Clinical Trials type of studies. Among systematic reviews we found that of the total articles reviewed and analyzed 60%, it is asserted that the interventions of the multidisciplinary Educational Program to prevent falls in older adults help to prevent them, which interventions are presented with a statistically significant improvement; Unlike 30% of studies, they indicate that the programs could contribute to the decrease in the occurrence of falls, requiring higher quality of evidence, and 10% of research affirms that educational intervention programs to prevent falls in older adults is not conclusive. . Conclusions: Multidisciplinary educational programs are effective in preventing falls in older adults, reducing the possibility of falls due to repetition, fear of falling and promoting an adequate quality of life.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of unfractionated heparins versus low-molecular-weight heparins for the prevention of coagulation in patients with renal insufficiency undergoing hemodialysis.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-11-04) Rosado Gereda, Johana Lizbeth; Vicente Velasquez, Víctor Andrés; Borda Izquierdo, AlejandroObjective: A systematic review of ten scientific articles was conducted, with a publication date of less than ten years, from the following databases: Scielo, Pubmed, Epistemonikos, Medline, and Google Scholar. Of the selected articles, 20% were systematic reviews and meta-analyses, 40% were randomized clinical trials, 20% cohort studies, and 20% case-control studies. The overall quality of evidence was high in 70% of the articles and moderate in 30%. The studies originated from the following countries: USA (30%), Canada (20%), Brazil (10%), Austria (10%), Israel (10%), Poland (10%), and the UK (10%). The GRADE system was used to identify the level of evidence. Results: According to the findings, 60% (n = 6/10) indicated that both heparins are equally effective in preventing coagulation in patients with renal failure undergoing hemodialysis. 30% (n = 3/10) suggested that low-molecular-weight heparin is more effective than unfractionated heparin, and 10% (n = 1/10) indicated that unfractionated heparin is more effective than low-molecular-weight heparin. It is observed that when evaluating the 10 pieces of evidence under study, the type of research they correspond to is: 90% (9/10) Systematic Reviews, and 10% (1/10) Meta-analysis, all of high quality. Results: 100% (n = 10/10) of the evidence found are from international sources, reporting that the efficacy of sealing the catheter with anticoagulant added with antibiotic compared to sealing with only anticoagulant to prevent bacteremia in hemodialysis patients. The sample consisted of 150 nurses who met the inclusion criteria. The technique used was the survey and the instruments, the Likert-type scale that was validated by the author Cachay for ergonomic risk factor; and for lower back pain, by Chávez. Results: There is a moderate negative average correlation (p= 0.004, rho = -0.764) between the average risk factor (58.7%) and acute low back pain (53.3%). 46% presented high risk for the prolonged standing factor; 60.7% presented medium risk for the physical effort factor without application of body mechanics; and 76% presented medium risk for the forced and prolonged postures factor; Regarding low back pain, 55.3% presented acute low back pain, 23.3% did not present pain and 21.3% presented chronic low back pain Conclusions: There is a correlation between the average risk factors and acute low back pain; Regarding the prolonged standing factor, the risk factor is high; For the physical effort factor without application of body mechanics and for the forced and prolonged postures factor the risk factor is medium.Ítem Acceso abierto Ergonomic risks related to occupational low back pain in nurses working in the Surgical Center at the Daniel Alcides Carrión Hospital, 2014.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2014) Guizado Ramos, Maria Milagros; Zamora Córdova, Karin; Borda Izquierdo, AlejandroObjective: To determine the relationship between ergonomic risks and occupational low back pain in nurses working in the surgical center of the Daniel Alcides Carrión Hospital in 2014. Material and Methods: This research is applied to the field of health, of a descriptive-correlational type, cross-sectional, and non-experimental. The sampling was non-probabilistic and intentional. The sample consisted of 33 nurses: permanent (72.7%) and contract (27.3%), with ages ranging from 23 to 33 years (69.7%). Results: With a probability of p: (0.02), a “moderate positive correlation” (Spearman's Rho 0.517) was found between ergonomic risks (prolonged forced postures (0.718) and body movements (0.649)), both showing a high positive correlation with occupational low back pain in the acute dimension. The risks of weight-force (0.619), body movements (0.603), and prolonged forced postures (0.436) showed a “moderate positive correlation” with subacute low back pain. Body posture (0.055) and weight-force (0.158) showed a “low positive correlation” and did not demonstrate a higher level of relationship with chronic low back pain. Materials and Methods: This work involves systematic reviews, with an observational and retrospective design, synthesizing the results of multiple studies. These are essential to Evidence-Based Nursing (EBN) due to their rigorous methodology, identifying relevant studies to address specific clinical practice questions. The search was restricted to full-text articles, which were critically assessed using the GRADE system to assign the strength of recommendations. Results: Ten scientific articles were reviewed; 20% (2) were from Colombia, 20% (2) from Spain, 20% (2) from Cuba, 10% (1) from Argentina, 10% (1) from Brazil, 10% (1) from the United States, and 10% (1) from Peru. Nine studies were systematic reviews (90%) and one study was quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional, correlational, and retrospective (10%). According to the results, 100% (10) of the studies showed that exposure to ionizing radiation has a negative effect on the health of healthcare workers, causing harmful damage such as thyroid cancer, hyperthyroidism, gastric intestinal metaplasia, chromosomal aberrations, apoptosis, mutations, genomic instability, male infertility, and leukemia. Conclusions: Ionizing radiation exposure has a negative effect on healthcare workers' health; inappropriate and irrational use can lead to severe health consequences due to genotoxic and carcinogenic effects that increase frequently with prolonged exposure over days, months, and years. Results: regarding the quality variable of SOAPIE, it is evident that 76% obtained poor quality of SOAPIE and regarding the personal factor, 66% are between 31 to 49 years old and 70% are specialists, 62% are hired under a cas regime. and finally, 46% of the professionals have 5 years of service. Regarding the professional factor, 61% report that they did not receive courses or workshops on nursing notes and finally, the institutional factor. 47.4% only one nurse works per shift. There is no statistical relationship between the factors and quality of SOAPIE, I accept the professional and institutional factor. Conclusions: the majority of professionals obtained a poor quality of the SOAPIE, there is no relationship between the factors and quality of SOAPIE.
