    Competencies of nursing administrators in personnel management

    Objective: Analyze the evidence on the competencies of the nursing administrator in personnel management MATERIAL AND METHOD: Systematic review of 11 scientific articles referring to the competencies of the nursing administrator in personnel management, they were located after exploring the databases Scielo, Pubmed, Redalyc, Medline, Epistemónikos, Sciencedirect, Cochrane. All of them were examined according to the Grade scale to determine their strength and quality of evidence. 36.3% (4/11) are systematic reviews, 27.2% (3/11) are literature reviews, 18% (2/11) are integrative reviews, 9% (1/11) are descriptive and 9% ( 1/11) is a systematic review of the literature RESULTS: Of the 11 articles systematically reviewed, 100% (11/11) demonstrate the competencies of the nursing administrator in personnel management. CONCLUSIONS: Of the 11 articles reviewed, 10 competencies are fundamentally evident, which are mentioned below: Leadership 73%, interpersonal skills 45%, professional knowledge and preparation 45%, teamwork 45%, management skills 45%, staff training 36%, technical dimension 45%, computer knowledge 27%, care management 18% and personality 18%. These competencies guarantee that the nursing administrator achieves good management of personnel and health services.
