Publicación Acceso abierto Cultura de seguridad del paciente y cultura organizacional en el personal de enfermería de un hospital, Lima - Perú 2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-12-09) Damas Castillo, Kledy Katherine; Arellano Sacramento, CésarThe study is entitled "Culture of patient safety and organizational culture in the nursing staff of a Hospital, Lima-Peru 2019". The objective was "to determine the relationship between the culture of patient safety and the organizational culture in the nursing staff of the San Bartolomé hospital." A study was carried out with a quantitative approach, type of applied research, non-experimental design and correlational level, crosssectional, carried out at the San Bartolomé Hospital during the month of August 2019, where 100 nurses who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria participated. For data collection, two instruments were applied for each variable, being validated by expert judgment. It was found that 97% were women, 44% were under 35 years of age, 54% were single, 75% were appointed and 38% were from the hospitalization area. A significant relationship was found between the patient safety culture and the organizational culture P <0.05 (p = 0.008). A significant relationship was found between the patient's safety culture and the visible artifacts dimension (p = 0.030), however, no relationships were found with the dimensions of the business environment, communication system, managerial and administrative system, and system of values and beliefs
