(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-09-25) Calderon Ichpas, Esthefany Maria; Escobedo Rodriguez, Angie Carolina; Esteves Cárdenas, Verónica Liset
The existence of a relationship between internal control and inventory management was determined among the logistics personnel of four pharmacies in Metropolitan Lima in 2023. The applied method was hypothetical-deductive, with a quantitative perspective and a basic character, using a non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational test. The sample was a census sample; in other words, the entire population was included, which consisted of 95 logistics personnel from the four pharmacies in Metropolitan Lima. The questionnaire was used as the data collection tool, and the survey as the technique. The results revealed a moderate correlation coefficient of Rho = 0.677 and a significance of 0.000, leading to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis, recognizing that there is a favorable correlation between the variables of internal control and inventory management in the logistics area of four pharmacies in Lima." Metropolitan Region, 2023. Therefore, it is concluded that, although a favorable correlation is maintained, the internal control of the logistics area must still be improved in order to effectively manage inventory, with the aim of guaranteeing effectiveness and security in the demand for pharmaceutical products to private and public sectors.

Results: a significant relationship was observed between the perception of pharmacotherapeutic follow-up and pharmaceutical care (p < 0.05), with a correlation coefficient Rho = +0.508; therefore, a direct and positive relationship of medium magnitude. Significant relationships were found between the dimensions of pharmacotherapeutic follow-up and the dimensions of the perception of care in older adult patients. In dispensing, the correlation was weak (Rho = +0.208, p < 0.05). In orientation, a medium-low correlation was observed (Rho = +0.413, p < 0.05). Confidence showed a similar relationship (Rho = +0.386, p < 0.05), as did satisfaction, which was associated with better follow-up (Rho = +0.369, p < 0.05). It is concluded that pharmacotherapeutic monitoring has a positive impact on the perception of pharmaceutical care among older adult patients in San Antonio - Chosica, highlighting the importance of the role of the pharmaceutical chemist in improving health outcomes and patient satisfaction through continuous and systematic monitoring.
