Emotional intelligence in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic and quality of care for users in the hospitalization area of the Ricardo Palma Clinic in Lima, 2021

In the present study "Emotional intelligence in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and quality of care for users in the hospitalization area of the Ricardo Palma clinic in Lima, 2021, the objective was raised: To determine the relationship that exists between emotional intelligence in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and the quality of care for users. Research Methodology: The study is correlational, of an application type and non-experimental design. The population is made up of eighty (80) nursing professionals, including graduates and technicians, who work in the hospitalization area. The data collection technique was the survey and observation. The instruments that were applied were of the Likert type and an observation guide. Results: There is a relationship between emotional intelligence and the quality of user care, showing a significant positive correlation between the variables, with a value of 0.5246268. Conclusions: It is concluded that there is a relationship between the study variables, in the dimensions of emotional self-awareness, emotional control and empathy around the quality of care, with correlation values of 0.4992612, 0.3761414 and 0.3175354 respectively. The findings in the study reflect the importance of promoting emotional intelligence in relation to the quality of care offered by health personnel.

Factores motivacionales y su relación con el desempeño laboral del profesional de enfermería que labora en el centro quirúrgico de un hospital nacional de Lima, 2024

Esta investigación tiene como Objetivo: Determinar la relación de los factores motivacionales con el desempeño laboral del profesional de enfermería que labora en el centro quirúrgico. La metodología: El estudio es de diseño correlacional, método hipotético deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo y tipo aplicada. La población estará conformada por ochenta (80) profesionales de enfermería que laboran en el área de centro quirúrgico de un hospital Nacional. La técnica de recolección de datos será la encuesta. Los instrumentos que se aplicarán para el trabajo de investigación serán tipo Likert para cada variable, factores motivacionales y desempeño laboral, los cuales se encuentran validados; los instrumentos cuentas con un alto nivel de confiabilidad, con un 0.835, de la primera variable y un 0.820, de la segunda variable; para recolectar la información se estima un tiempo aproximado de 30 minutos por cada encuestado, con respecto al análisis se utilizaran gráficos, tablas y los programas IBM SPSS Statistics versión 260 y Microsoft Excel 2019 para el análisis e interpretación de los datos. Asimismo, para confrontar las hipótesis, se usará la estadística inferencial, mediante la prueba de correlación de Spearman.
