Publicación Acceso abierto Motivación y aprendizaje significativo en estudiantes de Terapia Física de una universidad pública de Lima, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-10-28) Franco Espinoza, Aldo Gustavo; Ramos Vera, Rosario PilarAccording to studies, it has been shown that motivation has had a great influence on both learning and educational progress of students through individual and environmental factors. It is of utmost importance to analyze motivation, or perhaps its non-existence, to fully identify its relationship in the teaching-learning activities of students, with the purpose of achieving academic effectiveness. Thus, the objective of this research was to establish to what extent motivation is related to meaningful learning in students of Physical Therapy at a public university, Lima - 2022. The methodology was hypothetical-deductive, quantitative, applied, non-experimental, correlational, and cross-sectional. With a population of 160 students, a probabilistic, simple random sampling was used, giving a sample of 114 subjects. The instruments applied were two questionnaires for both variables using the Google forms platform. The results showed that the sample presented a high level of motivation (58.8%) and significant learning (55.3%). Regarding the general objective, it was found that the Spearman's Rho value, r= 0.475, with a significance level of 0.00 < 0.05. It is concluded that there is a moderate and positive relationship between the variables Motivation and Meaningful Learning in Physical Therapy students in a public university, Lima - 2022.
