Ítem Acceso abierto Stress and work performance in the nursing staff of the San Judas Tadeo Clinic, Lima – 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-12-01) Gamarra Causto, Idalia; Arevalo Marcos, Rodolfo AmadoObjective: To determine the relationship between stress and work performance in the nursing staff of the San Judas Tadeo Clinic, Lima - 2023. Methodology: The study was carried out through the hypothetical deductive method, of the applied type, of a quantitative approach, of a correlational level, of a non-experimental design and of a cross section; in a sample of 80 participants. The technique used was the survey; the data collection instruments were two, the questionnaire called Questionaries Nursing Stress Scale (N.S.S) and the work performance scale, proposed by the Minsa. Results: The results found show that 52.5% of the participants presented a regular level of stress, 31.3% low stress and 16.3% high stress. Likewise, 51.2% showed regular job performance, 46.3% high performance and 2.5% poor job performance. On the other hand, a relationship was found in the physical, psychological and social dimensions of stress, with job performance. Conclusions: It is concluded that there is a relationship between stress and job performance in nursing professionals, where the p value was equal to 0.000 < 0.05; and the result of Spearman's correlation was moderately positive (Rho = 4.71).
