We worked with a sample of 80 nursing staff from the adult-pediatric emergency area in a hospital in Villa Maria del Triunfo in the year 2022. Spearman's rho correlation tests were used as statistics, being significant when the value was less than 0.05 (p<0.05). Results: Among the results, 51.3% of the nursing staff had medium-level burnout syndrome and 24.4% had low-level burnout. The work performance of the nursing staff was regular in 83.3% and bad in 16.7%. Likewise, there is no significant relationship between emotional exhaustion (p=0.971), depersonalization (p=0.429), personal fulfillment (p=0.419) and job performance in times of the covid-19 pandemic of nursing staff.
