Publicación Acceso abierto Significancia clínica de las intervenciones farmacéuticas no aceptadas de las prescripciones médicas en la Clínica Internacional – San Borja 2017(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-10-29) Gonzáles Alarcón, Darry; Peralta Hilario, Antony Frank; Caldas Herrera, EmmaThe present research aimed to determine the clinical significance of non-accepted Pharmaceutical Interventions (PI) in medical prescriptions at Clínica Internacional San Borja in 2017. The study was applied, descriptive, retrospective, and cross-sectional in orientation, and was conducted in the Hospital Pharmacy services, specifically in the Unit Dose area at Clínica Internacional San Borja. The study population consisted of 309 non-accepted Pharmaceutical Interventions during the year 2017. The study sample was composed of 188 non-accepted Pharmaceutical Interventions from hospitalized patients at the clinic. Data collection was carried out using the FOR–FAR-024 form (Pharmaceutical Interventions Format). The instrument for evaluating the clinical significance of the pharmaceutical interventions was designed and validated according to the methodology of Clopés and Col., adapted for this study. Data were analyzed using the statistical software SPSS, Version 23.0. The following results were obtained: from a sample of 191 non-accepted Pharmaceutical Interventions, 57.1% were classified as highly significant, 27.7% as significant, 6.8% as extremely significant, and 8.4% as indifferent. It was determined that the non-accepted Pharmaceutical Interventions in medical prescriptions at Clínica Internacional San Borja in 2017 were clinically highly significant in 57.1% of cases.
