Methodology: The method was hypothetical-deductive, quantitative approach, applied type, descriptive correlational and non-experimental design. The population was made up of 80 patients who attend the Tuberculosis Control Program (PCT). The technique was the survey and validated instruments “Modified Tanahashi Test” and “Adapted Morisky Green Test”. Results: It is evident that access to health services in PCT patients was medium level 50%, low 33.8% and high 16.2%; and adherence to treatment was 83.7%; According to dimensions, availability was medium level 46.2%, low 32.5% and high 21.3%; accessibility was medium level 50%, low 35% and high 15%; acceptability was medium level 47.5%, low 40% and high 12.5%; and contact was medium level 55%, low 27.5% and high 17.5%. Conclusions: According to the Spearman Correlation Test, it is concluded that there is a moderate relationship between access to health services and adherence to anti-tuberculosis treatment in patients who attend the PCT of the Caja de Agua Health Center (Rho = 0.739, p = 0.038).Publicación Acceso abierto Ansiedad y calidad de vida relacionada a la salud bucal en pacientes de un consultorio en Huánuco, año 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-08-23) Rojas Alcocer, Isis Laura; Hermoza Moquillaza, Rocío VictoriaThe present investigation was carried out with the objective of determining the relationship between anxiety and quality of life related to oral health in patients from a clinic in Huánuco, 2023. This study being a qualitative, correlational approach with a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The population group that was chosen for this study was made up of people who go to the Dentistry Area of a private office in Huánuco, thus being the sample of 248. The procedure that was used for data collection was through a survey, and the type of instrument used was through a Questionnaire called Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP-14) consisting of 14 questions and 5 alternatives to choose from and the Corah Dental Anxiety Scale, a brief questionnaire, consisting of 4 questions and 5 options to choose from. Within the results, it was found regarding anxiety levels 46.8% of moderate anxiety, followed by low anxiety in 39.1% and high anxiety in 7.3%. Regarding the quality of life, a regular quality of life was found in 53.6%, followed by a bad one in 42.3% and an excellent quality of life in 4%. The anxiety and academic performance variables were studied in a total of 105 Nursing students from a Private Institute in Lima 2022. An instrument (EAL - 20) was used for the anxiety variable and Documentary Analysis for the Academic Performance variable. Results: Consequences were found between anxiety and academic performance (p=0.000), with the PSYCHIC ANXIETY DIMENSION (Rho: - 0.459) inverse and moderate reactions. With the PHYSICAL SYMPTOMS DIMENSION (Rho: - 0.466) inverse and moderate conversions, with the SOCIAL PHOBIA DIMENSION (Rho: - 0.335) inverse and weak conversions. The Methodology is a study with a quantitative approach, of an applied type, correlational, non-experimental design, and cross-sectional. The population is made up of nursing staff, these 90 workers working in the areas of nephrology and emergency. The data collection technique was the survey, the instrument used was a questionnaire validated for the Peruvian reality, the labor absenteeism variable with its 4 dimensions and 18 items, and the work performance variable with its 4 dimensions and 20 items. For data analysis, the SPSS v 26.0 program was used. Results for the hypothesis test, Spearman's correlation coefficient was applied. The results obtained show that the majority of workers surveyed were between 40 and 49 years old (41.1%), were female (51.1%), their profession was a nursing degree (56.7%), and their Marital status was cohabiting/married (57.8%). It can also be seen that the level of work absenteeism among the staff surveyed was high at 72.2% and medium at 27.8%. And that the level of work performance in the personnel surveyed was high in 92.2% and medium in 7.8%. Regarding the general hypothesis, according to the value of the Spearman correlation coefficient (Rho=-0.287), it can be affirmed that there is a low, inverse and significant relationship between work absenteeism and the work performance of the nursing staff of the National Hospital Dos de Mayo. Conclusion: Nurses who present a greater number of factors of work absenteeism present, in turn, a lower work performance, which should be taken into account in future improvement strategies.Publicación Acceso abierto Ausentismo laboral y su relación con el desempeño laboral en los profesionales de salud del Hospital Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz, Puente Piedra, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-01-29) Huaylla Briceño, Helen Silvana; Hermoza Moquillaza, Rocío VictoriaObjective: “To determine how work absenteeism is related to work performance in health professionals at the Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz Hospital, Puente Piedra, 2023.” Materials and methods: Quantitative, correlational and cross-sectional study. The population consisted of 972 health professionals, with a sample of 164, simple random probabilistic sampling. The questionnaires were adapted for the variable absenteeism and job performance, they have 18 and 20 questions respectively, divided into 4 dimensions, validated by 5 experts. A pilot test was carried out with 25 health professionals, with a Cronbach's alpha reliability of 0.859 and 0.910. Results: 64.6% of health professionals have medium absenteeism and 31.7% have low absenteeism, while 91.5% have a good level of work performance. Furthermore, 78.7% presented low absenteeism in the specific context and culture dimension, unlike the dimensions: Individual factor, Workplace and Work content where absenteeism was of a medium level. Using Spearman's Rho statistic, there is a relationship between the variables studied, being - 0.484 with a significance level of 0.05. Conclusions: An inverse correlation, of medium intensity and significant, was found between the study variables, that is, an increase in absenteeism is related to a decrease in work performance in health professionals at the Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz de Puente Piedra Hospital during 2023.Publicación Acceso abierto El ausentismo y desempeño laboral en profesionales de enfermería en áreas críticas de adultos del Hospital Edgardo Rebagliati Martins, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-11-20) Calderón Quevedo, Ana María; Hermoza Moquillaza, Rocío VictoriaThis work was carried out with the objective of “Determining the relationship between absenteeism and work performance in nursing professionals in critical adult areas of the Edgardo Rebagliati Martins Hospital, 2023.” Material and methods: Study with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design of correlational-cross-sectional scope, had a population of 155 Nursing professionals, and a sample of 120 participants; The technique used was the survey and two questionnaires as instruments that were previously validated by expert judgments. The hypothesis testing was evaluated using the Spearman test and institutional and Ethics Committee approval was obtained. The results obtained were that 90.8% of Nursing professionals had a medium level of absenteeism and 91.7% had an efficient level of performance. The test of the general hypothesis showed that Absenteeism is related to Work Performance (p=0.048; Rho=0.181), likewise the test of the second specific hypothesis showed that the Workplace Dimension of Absenteeism is related to Work Performance (p=0.002; Rho=0.284); The other hypotheses were not significant (p>0.05). Thus, the applied methodology of the descriptive, non-experimental study, of correlational design with a quantitative approach, with a sample of 80 external users attended in the aforementioned, which is provided with two questionnaires, quality of care and the second, user satisfaction external, under their knowledge and authorship to continue with the answers according to their evaluation and perception of it. Once finished, the data is emptied into the Excel program and then processed with the SPSS.vrs 21 program, with descriptive analysis, graphic tables and interpretation, as well as the interferential analysis and correlation of variables and dimensions according to the objective set. The result obtained on quality of care is observed 58% of users consider having good quality of care in the different services, 35% regular and 6% bad, satisfaction 66.3% perceive to be satisfied, 28% little, 5% dissatisfied. Regarding the sociodemographic, women 60.5% consider that the quality of care is good, compared to men 56.8%; bad 10.8%., The analysis of the relationship between quality of care and satisfaction is observed, the Spearman Correlation coefficient is 0.795 which indicates that the quality of care and satisfaction are directly related; with probability of error is p = 0.000, less than the level of significance 1%; reject the null hypothesis; Therefore, the quality of care is statistically related to satisfaction. The relationship between the response capacity dimension of the quality of care and the satisfaction variable, we observe the Spearman Correlation coefficient is 0.657; direct value; having error p = 0.000, less than the level of significance 1%; the null hypothesis is rejected. Being a correlational type study , quantitative, non-experimental design, interview technique, non-probabilistic sampling. It was carried out on a final sample of 128 users. Being studied quality as one of the study variables, this is related to the level of care provided in the medical services provided and the other study variable is in the satisfaction that the user describes of the health service humanity & Inclusion. The instrument used is the Servperf model, which allows identifying the level of quality with a 22-item questionnaire, it also allows analyzing the level of satisfaction with a 16-item questionnaire, presenting five alternatives as possible answers, being: totally disagree, disagree, moderate, agree and totally agree. The results showed that 96.9% of users consider that the quality of care in the health service was good; Likewise, 86.7% of users consider that the level of satisfaction in the health service is high. The significance of the correlation was found to be positive and statistically moderate, with the Spearman correlation being 0.417 and a significant relationship (p = 0.000). Lima, 2022. Material and Method: A study with a quantitative, observational, and cross-sectional approach was carried out. The sample was 156 patients; in whom, the survey technique was applied through two questionnaires: a quality of care questionnaire measured with the SERVQUAL scale and a user satisfaction questionnaire, both previously validated and with a high level of reliability. Results: The quality of care mostly had a regular level in 41.4%; and user satisfaction, a satisfied level of 38.2%. The dimensions tangible elements, reliability, responsiveness, security and empathy obtained a statistically significant relationship with user satisfaction (p<0.05); and a moderate positive Spearman's correlation. Materials and methods: Study with quantitative, applied, no experimental, correlational and cross sectional methodology, in which two valid and reliable questionnaires were applied to a population made up of 100 patients, with a sample of 80 participants. Results: It was found that 62.5% and 37.5% of surveyed patients perceived satisfaction at a medium and high level, respectively, and 63.8%, 33.8% and 2.4% of patients indicated a quality of nursing care at a medium, high and low level. low respectively. The Methodology used was a quantitative, correlational, cross-sectional, nonexperimental approach, the population and sample consisted of 110 Nursing Technicians. for data collection, the survey technique was used through the CVP-35 instruments, with 4 dimensions and 35 questions, which evaluates the quality of working life, and GHQ-12, with 2 dimensions and 12 questions, which evaluates the mental health. Results: regarding the variable Quality of working life, it was evidenced that 84.5% (n=93) of the population have a good quality of working life and in the mental health variable, 89.1% (n=98) have no psychopathology. and only 2.7% (n=3) evidenced the presence of psychopathology. Spearman's parametric correlation test was used. Materiales y método: Se aplicó un diseño de investigación cuantitativo, observacional, utilizando el método hipotético-deductivo. El estudio fue de carácter aplicado y descriptivo correlacional, con una muestra de 106 profesionales del laboratorio clínico. Los datos se analizaron mediante el coeficiente de correlación Rho de Spearman, Resultado: Se obtuvo una correlación positiva, directa y débil, pero estadísticamente significativa, entre las variables estudiadas (Rho = 0,372; p = 0,000); se observaron correlaciones significativas en las dimensiones de apoyo directivo (Rho = 0,409; p = 0,000) y motivación interna (Rho = 0,353; p = 0,000), mientras que entre carga laboral y rendimiento no se encontró ninguna relación significativa (Rho = -0,026; p = 0,789). Conclusiones: existe una relación directa entre la calidad de vida y el desempeño laboral del personal de laboratorio, siendo el apoyo directivo el que muestra un vínculo más fuerte, y la motivación interna refleja un alto nivel de compromiso personal y de implicación con el entorno de trabajo.Publicación Acceso abierto Calidad del cuidado de enfermería en relación a la aplicación de principios bioéticos en los pacientes del servicio de hospitalización de un hospital nacional, Lima - Perú, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-08-18) Guzmán Alvarez, Eva; Hermoza Moquillaza, Rocío VictoriaThe present study "Quality of nursing care in relation to the application of bioethical principles in patients of the hospitalization service of a national hospital, Lima - Peru, 2022", had as its objective: To determine the relationship that exists between the quality of nursing care and the application of bioethical principles in patients of the hospitalization service of a National Hospital, Lima - Peru 2022. The sample consisted of 108 patients hospitalized in the medicine service. The research was quantitative, descriptive, correlational in scope and non-experimental in design. The instrument used was two Likert-type surveys, a questionnaire to measure the quality of care that consisted of 35 items, as well as another questionnaire to measure the application of bioethical principles that consisted of 24 items. The results obtained in relation to the quality of care variable, 97.2% of respondents considered it as good and 2.8% rated it as moderate. In relation to its dimensions, it was obtained: human dimension 92.6%, scientific technical dimension with 95.4% and the environment dimension obtained 96.3% being considered as good. In the variable of application of bioethical principles, the respondents expressed a good level with 97.2%, moderate with 1.9% and for improvement with 0.9%. It is concluded that there are significant positive correlations between the dimensions of quality of care and the application of bioethical principles. Objective: The relationship between the quality of registration and resistance in the application of the EHR in the nursing staff of the Rebagliati 2024 Hospital will be determined. Material and methods: Hypothetical deductive, quantitative, observational and cross-sectional study. 292 nurses from the Rebagliati Hospital who had access to the hospital electronic management system during 2024 were investigated. The variables evaluated were the quality of registration and resistance to use and the Kendall Tau-B statistical test was used. Results: The main gender was female (80.14%), the predominant age range was 51-60 years (42.47%), the quality of the EHR registration was regular (55.48%), the The level of resistance to the application of the EHR was medium (57.53%). A significant moderate evaluation was identified between the two variables (t=0.456; p=0.040), moderate and statistically significant evaluation in the dimensions of structure (t=0.478; p=0.037) and content (t=0.521; p=0.039). with variable resistance to the application of EHR. Conclusion: It was identified that there is a significant to determinate the relationship in the quality of registration and resistance to the application of the EHR in nurses of the Rebagliati Hospital. The population was 81 family members. The survey technique was used, and “the Callista Roy Coping and Adaptation Process measurement scale” (33), as an instrument that was validated through Cronbach's Alpha of 0.874. Results: It is demonstrated that there is a relationship between the ability to cope and adapt with the educational level of the family member in the face of the agony of the Elderly, through the P-value = 0.001 of the Rho Spearman correlation coefficient test; Likewise, this test presents rho = 0.363, which shows a low-grade and statistically significant direct relationship between the variables. In this way, it is concluded that the ability to cope and adapt will be according to the educational level in which the family member is. Since the educational level will measure the difficulty or ease that the older adult will have to understand the health situation that the older adult is experiencing. in agony.Publicación Acceso abierto Capacidad funcional y riesgo de caídas de adultos mayores de un Centro de Salud – Lima, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-04-10) Rojas Juanpedro, Evelin Isabel; Hermoza Moquillaza, Rocío VictoriaEl presente estudio plateó el objeto principal de analizar la asociación de la capacidad funcional frente a la probabilidad de sufrir caídas en personas ancianas en una institución hospitalaria localizada en Lima, 2023. Se empleó un diseño metodológico cuantitativo, descriptivo transversal y de correlación, bajo un enfoque hipotética-deductiva. La población del estudio tuvo la participación de 84 adultos mayores, sin elección de muestra aleatoria. Resultados: el mayor porcentaje de participantes tenían edades de 91 a 96 años, representando el 32.1% del total; el 51.2% eran mujeres, el 35.7% estaba casado, el 34.5% no tenía instrucción y el 46.4% provenía de la región costera. En cuanto a su capacidad funcional, la mayor parte presentaba dependencia grave con 56%, seguida de dependencia moderada con 25%, el 9.5% eran independientes, 6% mostraba dependencia leve y 3.6% experimentaba dependencia total. En riesgo de caídas, la mayoría demostró riesgo alto con 72.6% y riesgo bajo 27.4%; en las dimensiones evaluadas, la mayoría presentó bajo riesgo en la dimensión de estado mental con 86.9%, un alto riesgo se observó en déficits sensoriales (81%), le sigue la dimensión de caídas con 66.7%, edad 64.3%, deambulación 59.5% y medicamentos el 54.8%, todas ellas con alto riesgo. En conclusión, se estableció la existencia de vínculo significativo de la capacidad funcional frente al riesgo de caídas en personas ancianas. Methodology: Quantitative, non-experimental, correlational study in health personnel of a Military Hospital in the city of Lima, using the database of research files for surveillance of COVID-19. Statistical analysis was obtained using SPSS 23.0v and Stata 17.0v. Results: Between March 15 and December 31, 2020, the prevalence of COVID-19 in health personnel was 271 (67.1%), of which 45.8% they are women; the average age of those confirmed was 45.3 years. Work occupation, contact with people with symptoms of acute respiratory infection or contact with a confirmed or probable case in the 14 days before the onset of symptoms, hospitalization, isolation, cough, sore throat, and other comorbidities were correlated with infection when presenting (p<0.05). The most affected personnel with 51.5% are assistance personnel: the nursing technician (18.3%), nurse (13.6%) and doctor (8.7%). 28% had contact with people with symptoms of acute respiratory infection and 19.1% reported having had contact with a confirmed or probable case in the 14 days before the onset of symptoms. 9.2% required hospitalization. Malaise (30%), sore throat (24.3%), cough (22.3%) were the most frequent symptoms. The characteristic that presented a significant association is the measure of isolation. Sáenz Lima 2022." The Methodology that was developed is of type applied, with a quantitative, correlational approach, its design is non-experimental, transversal. The population that participated was 118 nurses, of which the sample consisted of 101 nurses who work in the emergency and hospitalization areas of the HPNP LNS. the data collection technique used was the survey and the instrument was 2 questionnaires, one for the patient categorization variable “CUDYR” composed of 2 dimensions and 14 items and another for the work fatigue variable “H. Yoshitake” composed of 30 items. The data obtained were tabulated with the IBM SPSS Statistics 25 program. Spearman's ratio coefficient was used for the hypothesis test. It was obtained as RESULTS that of the total number of patients categorized as high risk and total dependence, 100% of nurses presented an excessive level of work fatigue, when the patient was categorized as maximum risk and total dependence, 70.4% of nurses presented excessive work fatigue. when the patient was categorized as high risk and partial dependency, 53.8% of nurses presented an excessive level of work fatigue, while when the patient was categorized as medium risk and total dependency, 88.9% presented a moderate level of work fatigue. The CONCLUSION was reached that there is a moderate direct relationship between the variables of the patient's categorization and work fatigue in the nursing professional of the H.PNP.LNS. Lima 2022. This work seeks to explore associations using a non-experimental, cross sectional, and correlational design applied to nursing practices, thus applying a hypothetical deductive approach with a quantitative perspective. With 84 nurses from the Provincial Hospital of Lima (February 2025), the study focuses on those selected through non-probability sampling. The results of the evaluation test indicate a P-value of 0.918, greater than 0.05; the null hypothesis cannot be rejected. Therefore, it is concluded that there is no significant relationship between the hospital safety climate and personal well-being among nursing professionals.
