Ítem Acceso abierto Relationship between the quality of nursing care as perceived by mothers and adherence to growth and development monitoring in children aged 6 to 11 months attending the Mirones Alto Health Center, Lima, 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-12-04) Gutierrez Supa, Patricia; Huamán Tome, Hilaria; Zavaleta Gutiérrez, Violeta AideéObjective was to determine the relationship between quality of nursing care according to the perception of mothers and compliance with attendance to growth and development control in children from 6 to 11 months who attend the Mirones Alto 2018 Health Center, Cercado de Lima. Material and methods: it is framed in a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional approach. The population and sample were made up of 60 mothers of children from 6 to 11 months who attend the growth and development control of the aforementioned health center. Results: the quality of care provided by the nursing professional according to the perception of mothers of children 6 to 11 months; 88.3% have high quality of care, 10% have medium quality of care and 1.7% have low quality. And regarding its dimensions; Technical-Scientific and Human have high quality of care (43.3% to 46.7%), except the environment dimension that has medium quality of care (46.7%). Compliance with attendance to growth and development control; 68.3% do not comply with their controls and 31.7% do comply with attending their growth and development controls. Conclusion: there is no relationship between the quality of care provided by the nursing professional according to the perception of their Mothers and the compliance of the attendance of children from 6 to 11 months to the Growth and Development Control at the Mirones Alto Health Center. Chi-square 2.786, df 2, P value 0.248.
