Objective was to determine the relationship between quality of nursing care according to the perception of mothers and compliance with attendance to growth and development control in children from 6 to 11 months who attend the Mirones Alto 2018 Health Center, Cercado de Lima. Material and methods: it is framed in a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional approach. The population and sample were made up of 60 mothers of children from 6 to 11 months who attend the growth and development control of the aforementioned health center. Results: the quality of care provided by the nursing professional according to the perception of mothers of children 6 to 11 months; 88.3% have high quality of care, 10% have medium quality of care and 1.7% have low quality. And regarding its dimensions; Technical-Scientific and Human have high quality of care (43.3% to 46.7%), except the environment dimension that has medium quality of care (46.7%). Compliance with attendance to growth and development control; 68.3% do not comply with their controls and 31.7% do comply with attending their growth and development controls. Conclusion: there is no relationship between the quality of care provided by the nursing professional according to the perception of their Mothers and the compliance of the attendance of children from 6 to 11 months to the Growth and Development Control at the Mirones Alto Health Center. Chi-square 2.786, df 2, P value 0.248.
Resumen
Objetivo fue determinar la relación entre calidad de atención de enfermería según la percepción de las madres y el cumplimiento de la asistencia al control de crecimiento y desarrollo en niños de 6 a 11 meses que acuden al Centro de Salud Mirones Alto 2018, Cercado de Lima. Material y métodos: está enmarcado en un enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo, de corte transversal. La población y muestra estuvo conformada por 60 madres de niños de 6 a 11 meses que acuden al control de crecimiento y desarrollo del mencionado centro de salud. Resultados: la calidad de atención que brinda el profesional de enfermería según la percepción de las madres de niños 6 a 11 meses; el 88.3% tiene alta calidad de atención, el 10% calidad de atención media y el 1.7% baja calidad. Y con respecto a sus dimensiones; Técnica-Científica y Humana tienen calidad de atención alta (43.3% a 46.7%), excepto la dimensión entorno que presenta calidad de atención media (46.7%). Cumplimiento de la asistencia al control de crecimiento y desarrollo; el 68.3%, no cumplen con sus controles y el 31.7%, si cumplen con asistir a sus controles de crecimiento y desarrollo. Conclusión: no existe relación entre la calidad de atención que brinda el profesional de enfermería según la percepción de sus Madres y el cumplimiento de la asistencia de los niños de 6 a 11 meses al Control de Crecimiento y Desarrollo en el Centro de Salud Mirones Alto.
