Materials and Methods: This study is a systematic review of 10 national Spanish-language articles. Boolean algorithms and operators used included: Fulfillment AND immunization schedule OR children OR mother, Immunization schedule AND children under 5 years. Results: Key findings show a significant relationship between maternal knowledge and vaccination schedule compliance in children under 5, facilitated by nurse support in immunization clinics. Adolescent mothers with lower levels of knowledge have higher percentages of incomplete vaccination schedules in their children, who also tend to suffer from malnutrition, risking both their health and intellectual capacities. Conclusions: There is a significant relationship between maternal knowledge and vaccination compliance, with adolescents being more likely to have incomplete vaccination schedules for their children.Ítem Acceso abierto Effective strategies to strengthen growth and development in children(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Pereyra Campos, Cynthia Karin; Krederdt Araujo, Sherin LuzObjective: Systematize the best evidence in already completed research; That is, to what extent the research found adds new knowledge to the central question. Material and methods: Information was collected from different articles according to the level of evidence and degree of recommendation. Thus, descriptive and correlational studies were selected. Results: The factors that intervene in the non-attendance of the CRED control of the boy and girl, the mothers and/or caregivers report that the nursing staff is insufficient and they have difficulties with the hours of care, with the waiting time, diversity of tasks of the home. Conclusions: It is detailed that in the range of 4 to 8%, fathers, mothers, caregivers have difficulties taking their children to the CRED due to work schedules, leaving their children in the care of minors, due to ignorance of the importance of the CRED, generating a significant gap between the children who attend the CRED and those who do not attend, which could be decisive, so that the children do not reach optimal development, causing them to be limited in their cognitive development and school performance, limiting their possibilities to access other levels of education, and with low economic productivity when they reach the adult stage of life. This is why it is essential to generate effective strategies to strengthen the growth and development of children; it is necessary to involve the person, family and community in this context, to preserve family health in the population.Ítem Acceso abierto Efficacy of an educational intervention on knowledge about healthy eating and physical activity in primary school students(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Fernández Paredes, Silvia Milagros; Huiza Guardia, Gladys Asunta; Krederdt Araujo, Sherin LuzObjective: Determine the effectiveness of an educational intervention on knowledge about healthy eating and physical activity in primary school students. Results: Of the 18 scientific articles reviewed, 55% were from Spanish journals and the remaining 45% were from American journals (Chile, Mexico, Venezuela and Cuba). The country with the highest number of scientific articles on our continent is Mexico with 4 articles (22%). According to the design and type of study, 61% had a quasi-experimental design (n=11/18), only 11% were experimental, with approximately one-fifth (22%) of the studies being cross-sectional (n=4/18). 18).Conclusion: Among the most relevant findings, the educational intervention program on healthy eating and physical activity for primary school students is effective in increasing knowledge of healthy eating and physical activity, however, there is insufficient evidence. to show that they decrease overweight in primary school students.Ítem Acceso abierto Factors related to adherence to comprehensive nursing care in mothers of children under one year old at C.S. Max Arias Schreiber, 2017(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2017-10-12) Elias Veramendi, Carmen Elizabeth; Gonzales Saire, Zelmira; Krederdt Araujo, Sherin LuzObjective: To determine the factors related to adherence to comprehensive nursing care in mothers of infants under one year of age at the C.S. Max Arias Schreiber. Method: Quantitative; applied; retrospective; descriptive-correlational. The techniques used were interviews directed at mothers and document analysis, focusing on the review of medical records. The instruments used were the questionnaire and a checklist, respectively. The convenience sample consisted of 100 mothers. Results: Two-thirds (73%) of the mothers were between 21 and 34 years old. In maternal and institutional factors, the value of median limitation was notable. Regarding total adherence, slightly more than half of the mothers adhered in five dimensions, except for home visits. Discrepancies were found between what the mothers reported and what was observed in the document analysis, except in the area of comprehensive counseling. The alternative hypothesis was accepted: there is a relationship between maternal and institutional factors and adherence. Finally, Pearson’s R (-0.6) indicated that as maternal and institutional factors increased in difficulty, adherence decreased. Conclusions: The most prevalent factor was cultural, particularly in the indicator of educational level.Ítem Acceso abierto Functional capacity of the elderly attending the Geriatrics Day Hospital.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2016-09-29) De la Cruz Casana, Maria Yesenia; Krederdt Araujo, Sherin LuzObjective: To determine the characteristics of exclusive breastfeeding cessation in mothers of children aged 0 to 6 months attended at the José Agurto Tello Hospital – Chosica, 2016.
