Ítem Acceso abierto Acceptance and results of the Sars-Cov-2 vaccine during pregnancy and breastfeeding(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-02-07) Parvina Hernandez, Pamela Yoselin; Morales Alvarado, Sabrina YnésObjective: To determine the scientific evidence regarding the acceptance and outcomes of the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Materials and Methods: A qualitative bibliographic review was conducted. Information was retrieved from various databases, including Google Scholar, Lilacs, PubMed, Elsevier, Cochrane, Scielo, ScienceDirect, and Microsoft Academic. The study included 42 articles that met the inclusion criteria for the 2021 study period. The Grade system was used to evaluate the quality of each article. Results: There was positive acceptance of the vaccine by pregnant and breastfeeding women. The vaccine demonstrated high effectiveness without complications in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Post-vaccination clinical reactions included common symptoms such as injection site pain, headache, general weakness, and myalgia. Neutralizing antibodies were detected in maternal serum, with placental transfer to the umbilical cord. Additionally, neutralizing and specific antibodies were found in breast milk, providing immune transfer to the infants. Conclusion: The vaccine should be used during pregnancy with complete safety as it provides an immunological response for both the mother and baby. Similarly, during breastfeeding, antibodies were present in breast milk, offering potential protection to the baby.Ítem Acceso abierto Characteristics of childbirth and the newborn in parturient women who received obstetric psychoprophylaxis at the Félix Mayorca Soto hospital, Tarma during the year 2019.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-10-11) Daza Gutierrez, Moraiba; Morales Alvarado, Sabrina YnésMaterials and Methods: This is a simple descriptive, retrospective, cross-sectional, observational, and analytical study at an exploratory level. It included 35 women in labor who participated in six sessions of obstetric psychoprophylaxis, as recorded in the Obstetric Psychoprophylaxis logbook, with clinical histories used to collect data on labor and newborn outcomes. Results: Of the 35 women who received obstetric psychoprophylaxis sessions during pregnancy, 85.7% had vaginal deliveries, and 14.3% underwent scheduled cesarean sections. Among the women who arrived through emergency care, 76.7% presented with cervical dilation between 0–3 cm. Of those with vaginal deliveries, 66.7% underwent episiotomies. In 86.7% of cases, the total duration of vaginal labor was less than 10 hours. At five minutes postpartum, 100% of the newborns had an Apgar score greater than 8. All newborns weighed between 2,500 and 4,000 grams. Conclusion: Obstetric psychoprophylaxis is essential for achieving favorable outcomes during labor and delivery, as well as for newborn outcomes in primiparous women. In 86.7% of cases, the total duration of vaginal labor was under 10 hours. Additionally, normal Apgar scores and weights were observed in all newborns, with no neonatal complications.Ítem Acceso abierto Characteristics of the environment, aggressor and victim of the alleged crime against sexual liberty in adolescent women 2018 to 2019, Peru.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-10-09) Pradera Perez, Lizbeth; Morales Alvarado, Sabrina YnésTo describe the characteristics of the environment, perpetrator, and victim in cases of alleged crimes against sexual freedom involving adolescent girls treated at the Forensic Gynecology and Obstetrics Section of DIRCRI - PNP from 2018 to 2019. PPO-EM is the preparation given to the pregnant woman just days before the expected date of delivery or the one offered to the laboring woman during labor. A clinical case is presented of a first-time pregnant adolescent without preparation and prenatal care, in labor with morbid obesity and severe preeclampsia as obstetric risk factors, who was provided with PPO-EM, resulting in a vaginal delivery and healthy maternal and perinatal outcomes. By providing PPO-EM by a qualified obstetric professional to the adolescent pregnant woman, the automatic response of conditioned behavior and active participation were achieved, along with emotional support, which facilitated an attitude change. As a result, her labor progressed without any additional risk factors beyond the ones already present. These outcomes highlight the contribution of PPO-EM in improving the quality of life and care for pregnant women and newborns, and consequently, for society.Ítem Acceso abierto Emergency obstetric psychoprophylaxis during labor in primigravida women without prenatal care at Hospital Cayetano Heredia(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-09-09) Rubio Peralta, Flor de María; Morales Alvarado, Sabrina YnésThe present clinical case is the application of Emergency Obstetric Psychoprophylaxis (EPO – EM) in a pregnant woman without preparation for Obstetric Psychoprophylaxis and without prenatal control, its application being essential to conclude with good results for the mother and her baby, during labor. labor, delivery and the puerperium. The intervention of the obstetrician in the preparation of Emergency Obstetric Psychoprophylaxis allowed for a favorable change in attitude and behavior in the pregnant woman, making this process a pleasant, healthy experience and, above all, contributing to reducing complications; such as fetal suffering due to poor respiratory technique, managing to improve the adequate oxygen supply to the baby, avoiding maternal exhaustion; applying the appropriate knowledge and techniques aimed at improving the physical and psychological state of the pregnant woman in the period of dilation, labor, delivery and subsequently postpartum care. This will achieve the goal of a birth without complications, with the well-being of the mother and her newborn together with the family environment.Ítem Acceso abierto Maternal complications in pregnant women infected with Covid-19(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-09-09) Landeo Escalante, Miriam Fiorella; Morales Alvarado, Sabrina YnésObjective: To systematize the evidence on maternal complications associated with COVID-19 infection in pregnant women. Methodology: A qualitative study with an observational and retrospective design, consisting of a review of original articles from the PubMed-Medline database published between 2020 and 2022. A sample of 30 articles was selected. The search algorithm used was (outcomes OR “preterm labor” OR preeclampsia OR PROM OR “maternal mortality”) AND (“covid-19” OR “SARS-CoV-2”) AND pregnancy. Results: The majority of articles were retrospective cohort studies (30.0%), published in 2021 (70%), and multinational (33.3%). The most frequently identified maternal complication was preterm birth (70%). Significant Relative Risk values were found for preterm birth (RR between 1.16 and 2.70), premature rupture of membranes (RR between 0.19 and 1.70), preeclampsia (RR between 0.88 and 2.68), and maternal mortality (RR between 1.70 and 22.3). Conclusion: COVID-19 infection is associated with maternal complications during pregnancy, especially preterm birth, premature rupture of membranes, preeclampsia, and maternal mortality.Ítem Acceso abierto Perception of pregnant women about the care they receive during obstetric psychoprophylaxis sessions at Hospital Nacional Hipólito Unanue, June-July 2017(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-06) Mendoza Peña, Nataly Milagros; Morales Alvarado, Sabrina YnésIn the present study, a methodology is used to determine the sociodemographic, cultural, and economic characteristics of women over 18 years old who had an abortion at the Hipólito Unanue National Hospital between January and October of 2015.
