Publicación Acceso abierto Efecto antibacteriano del extracto hidroalcohólico de las hojas de solanum aphyodendron s. knapp (olmish) sobre staphylococcus aureus y bacillus cereus in vitro(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-10-18) Narciso Mauricio, Flor de María; Valdivia Mora, Veronica Maciel; Ñañez del Pino, DanielThe objective of the research is to determine whether the hydroalcoholic extract of the leaves of Solanum aphyodendron S. Knapp (Olmish) has an antibacterial effect on strains of Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 and Bacillus cereus ATTC 11778, in vitro study. Methodology is hypothetical deductive whose quantitative approach, type of applied research with experimental design, cross-sectional and level of scope is explanatory. The phytochemical analysis was by "Phytochemical screening" and to determine the antibacterial activity was the Kirby Bauer method, which were taken concentrations of 25, 50 and 90 % of the extract. In the results, phenolic compounds, saponins, alkaloids, lactones, tannins, anthocyanins and flavonoids were found. In the microbiological test it was shown that the Staphylococcus aureus strain showed sensitivity to the three concentrations with average inhibition halos of 8,38, 11,10 and 13,42 mm; while Bacillus cereus only showed sensitivity to the concentration of 50 and 90 % with average inhibition halos of 8,63 and 13,02 mm. In conclusion, it was determined that the olmish leaf extract has an antibacterial effect on Staphylococcus aureus at the three concentrations and on Bacillus cereus only at 50 and 90 %, in an in vitro study.
