Publicación Acceso abierto Habilidades gerenciales y desempeño laboral en los trabajadores de la Unidad Ejecutora Red Salud Centro Ayacucho, Cangallo - 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-05-30) Nieto Cabana, Milagros Virginia; Maguiña Palma, Misael EriksonObjectives: Determine the relationship between managerial skills and job performance in workers of the Red Salud Centro Ayacucho-Cangallo Executing Unit, 2023. Methods: Research with a quantitative approach of the correlational type and the design is non-experimental, crosssectional, the sample size calculation was not performed because the study is census. Made up of 91 participants from administrative headquarters, the survey was used as the information collection technique through the questionnaire, applying one for the labor performance variable that contains 24 questions divided into 4 dimensions and another managerial skills questionnaire with 20 questions divided into 3 dimensions. It has a reliability according to Cronbach's alpha of 0.801 for the managerial skills variable and 0.959 for the job performance variable. The analysis of the relationship between the variables managerial skills and work performance was carried out using Spearman's correlation test. Results: 50.5% of workers were found with an academic degree of graduates, 52.7% with more than 5 years of service time and 48.4% hired by CAS modality. Regarding the managerial skills variable, 58.2% indicate that it is high, 35.2% medium and 6.6% low and in relation to the work performance variable, 72.5% indicate that it is regular, followed by 23.1% good and 4.4% deficient. And according to the correlation test, a Rho=0.722 was found with a value of p=0.000 (p<0.005), with a high positive correlation between the variables. Conclusion: The managerial skills of the directors are related to the work performance of the workers of the Red Salud Centro Ayacucho Executive Unit. Accepting the alternate hypothesis and rejecting the null hypothesis
