Ítem Acceso abierto Circumstances influencing adherence to multimicronutrients in mothers of children aged 6 to 36 months at the San Martín Base Health Center, Lima – 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-06-18) Gutiérrez Fernández, Henry Eduardo; Chani Montoya, Jhoselin Thalia; Orellana Arauco, Héctor EmilioObjective: Determine the circumstances that influence the adherence of multimicronutrients in mothers of children from 6 to 36 months at the San Martín Base Health Center, Lima - 2018. Materials and methods: The type of research is basic, descriptive level, quantitative approach , non-experimental cross-sectional design. The non-probabilistic convenience sample consisted of 60 mothers of children from 6 to 36 months. The survey was used as a technique and a validated instrument as a questionnaire to determine the relevant influencing circumstances. Results: Of the total number of mothers surveyed, we can mention that the circumstances that most influence supplementation is the importance of monitoring supplement consumption with 73.3%; followed by 70% adequate distribution of the supplement; Likewise, 90% indicate that monitoring of the supplementation process is very scarce; 45% do not have positive comments about the supplement; and 21.7% present a level of recognition of the signs and symptoms of the disease. Conclusions: Of all the circumstances that were taken into account, the majority influence mothers to obtain good adherence to supplementation; Likewise, the circumstance related to the person supplying has more influence.Ítem Acceso abierto Job satisfaction and working conditions of nurses in the medicine department at the Guillermo Kaelin de la Fuente Hospital, Lima - 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-03-27) Oré Motta, Erik Jaime; Soto Carrillo, Cecilia Carmela; Orellana Arauco, Héctor EmilioObjective is to determine the relationship between the level of job satisfaction and the working conditions of the nurse. The methodology presents a quantitative descriptive correlational cross-sectional study, the population is finite and consisted of 60 nurses; The instruments are validated by the MINSA. The results regarding the Job Satisfaction of the nursing professional, in the medicine service of the Guillermo Kaelin hospital, found that 68.3% presented a medium level of job satisfaction, 28.3% high and 3.3% low. On the other hand, in the dimensions, it was found that most of them present a medium Job Satisfaction; whose values range between 56.7% to 46.7%, followed by high satisfaction and finally, a low level of satisfaction. With the exception of the Personal Development dimensions, 91.7% presented a low level of satisfaction, followed by medium and high; Finally, in the Social Benefits dimension, 66.7% presented a high level of satisfaction, followed by medium and low. Finally, with respect to working conditions, it was found that 68.3% presented a regular working condition, followed by 28.3% good and 3.3% bad. Concluding that there is a relationship between the level of job satisfaction and the working conditions of the nurse in the Medicine Service of the Guillermo Kaelin Hospital 2018; because better working conditions will result in greater job satisfaction.Ítem Acceso abierto Sociodemographic factors and perception of humanized nursing care in the medicine department at Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital, Lima – 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-03-12) Torres Suarez, Ana Ivet; Quispe Napa, Susan Johanna; Orellana Arauco, Héctor EmilioObjective: To systematize evidence on the use of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) in healthcare to reduce risks to patient safety. Materials and Methods: This research was designed as a systematic review, summarizing results from research studies and providing evidence on the use of a specific intervention. A total of 25 scientific articles were reviewed, which were subjected to selection criteria, resulting in a sample of 10 articles found in databases. Results: The evidence found indicates that 100% (n=10/10) supports the use of FMEA to reduce risks to patient safety. The results also show that in terms of the quality of scientific evidence, 50% (n=5/10) are pre-experimental studies, 30% (n=3/10) are descriptive studies, and 20% (n=2/10) are cohort studies. Regarding the origin of the evidence, 50% comes from Spain, 10% from Colombia, 10% from Argentina, 10% from Israel, 10% from India, and 10% from Iran. Conclusion: The use of FMEA is evidenced as effective in reducing risks to patient safety.
