    The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between learning styles and the academic performance of undergraduate students of the nursing school of a public university in Tarma, 2022. This research had the hypothetical deductive methodology with a quantitative, nonexperimental analysis. cross-sectional design and correlational descriptive level; For the study, 100 undergraduate nursing students were considered as a sample; to which, through the technical survey, the CHAEA questionnaire was applied and for the academic performance variable, the record of student qualifications was used; finding as a result that there is a relationship between learning styles and academic performance in students (p = 0.002 < 0.05 and Spearman's Rho = 0.451) also maintaining that this connection was moderately positive. What is established as a conclusion of the study is that learning styles are directly linked to academic performance, that is, when students identify the style that best favors their learning, therefore it facilitates their academic performance.
